A Zone Ability-User Family

The A Zone Su Family is one of the region's three top families. Su Man, its eldest daughter, was a Level Nine Ice Ability User known as the Ice Queen. Her marriage to Su Zhiyuan—an orphan raised by the family and a Speed Mutant—was viewed as an unequal match by outsiders. 230 241

After Su Man died, the family drove Su Zhiyuan and their powerless daughter, Su Qiao, out to E Zone. Su Zhiyuan's injured leg further limited his Speed Ability, leaving the pair with little protection or influence. 230

Ice Ability Core Conflict

Su Man left behind a blue, rhombus-shaped Ice Ability Core containing highly concentrated energy. Su Zhiyuan kept it hidden in a pouch around his neck. 240

Marquis Su backed the wrong side during a succession struggle and was stripped of his official position. With the manor facing likely confiscation and extermination, he attempted to restore its standing by placing his daughter, Su Jingya, in the imperial selection. 563

Su Jingya is publicly regarded as the Eldest Miss, but Su Qiao is the true Eldest Miss. To preserve her position, Su Jingya burned the estate where Su Qiao lived, then hypnotized Su Qiao, their father, servants, and caretakers into believing Su Qiao was her frail twin brother. 563 564
