Confetti for the conclusion~
Phew, I finally finished writing it.
I don't know why, but after finishing, my heart felt hollow.
It was as if I'd lost something, and I couldn't help wanting to cry.
This book had brought the Mountain Lord so much.
I had persisted for years, writing novels purely out of love for it. Even at my highest monthly income, I had only made 1,400 yuan.
My family, who had originally been fairly open-minded, couldn't help urging me: "Why not stop writing? Or just treat it as a hobby. Finding a job is more important."
That sort of advice was considered gentle.
Some people said, "Writing a book? What kind of damn book are you writing? Can writing books make money? You're idle, sitting at home all day, and you're not even ashamed..."
Well, there had been all kinds of comments like that—some offered out of concern, others laced with vicious sarcasm. The Mountain Lord had endured them all.
Those words had once made the Mountain Lord deeply question himself.
Was the thing I'd persisted with for seven or eight years really worth it?
Before my twenty-fifth birthday last year, I wrote a book called Super Destruction God. It had seventy collections and zero subscriptions after going premium.
I was desperate then. I'd told my family that if I still couldn't see any hope by the age of twenty-five, I'd honestly go find manual labor.
But while I was out looking for work, I couldn't help secretly starting this book anyway. I still wanted to make one more effort.
And the result... was that this very book gave the Mountain Lord an enormous surprise.
My first recommendation, my first Sanjiang, my first appearance on the homepage, my first 27,000 collections at premium launch, and 1,700 first subscriptions.
