Breakthrough Requirements
Advancing from Spirit Bridge Peak to the Divine Ability Realm is a life-and-death trial centered on the soul and Spiritual Sense. Reaching Spirit Bridge Peak grants the minimum qualification to attempt it, but does not ensure survival or success 202.
The breakthrough proceeds through two soul transformations:
- Tempering the Yang Soul — Completing the lightning and heart tribulations leads to the Half-step Divine Ability Realm. The Yang Soul then helps elevate the Yin Soul. 288 289
- Transforming the Yin Soul — The Yin Soul must reach parity with the Yang Soul. Once Yin and Yang are balanced and fused, the cultivator officially enters the Divine Ability Realm. 299
The quality of a cultivator’s prior foundations—physical body, Cave Heaven Worlds, soul, and will—directly affects their strength after breakthrough 297.

Tier Structure
Early Tiers
The first three tiers retain ethereal Cave Heaven Worlds. Although not yet fully materialized, these worlds can contain powerful items and support the cultivator’s growing grasp of primordial rules 300.
Middle Tiers
The fourth tier begins the semi-solidification of the Cave Heaven World. By the sixth tier, an Origin Mark can form, allowing complete solidification and establishing the basis for rule comprehension 350 422.
Military cultivators in the middle three tiers may serve as Captains if they possess sufficient Military Merit 300.
High Tiers
The seventh tier represents a major threshold: Origin Marks and a solidified world allow a cultivator to begin approaching the power necessary to contend with Venerables 422.
At the ninth tier, exceptionally gifted cultivators may begin influencing the rules governing Origin Power. This remains rare; Rule Power is normally associated with Venerables 303.

Not all Divine Ability Realm cultivators are equally dangerous. Jian Shiliu was a second-tier cultivator whose sword cultivation gave him combat power close to the third tier, while the Shangjiang City Lord—also in the realm—possessed a far weaker soul and combat foundation 228 233.
Relation to Higher Realms
The Divine Ability Realm is decisively weaker than the Venerable Realm. Venerables possess stronger bodies, wider Spiritual Sense, and the crushing force of a Cave Heaven World projection; they can also wield Rule Power far more effectively 444 510.
Despite the name, the Divine Ability Realm is not a true Divine Body realm. A true Divine Body is formed only at the True God Realm, when the divine soul and physical body merge and gain the capacity for continuous regeneration so long as the life imprint survives 535 715.
