Put-put-put-put-put!
As the sounds of engines and a train whistle approached from afar, a convoy of four vehicles also came into view, drawing nearer along the open ground beside the railway.
At the front were two tractors fitted with truck beds, followed by a loader and an excavator. Since the excavator had a tracked chassis, and tracked chassis were indeed more advantageous when it came to overcoming obstacles, the Han Tribe's current technology meant that this tracked chassis could not move very fast. It could only barely keep up behind the wheeled vehicles.
Even so, this convoy of four vehicles created an even greater visual shock for the members of the White House Tribe.
Although they had just seen the much larger train, trains were obviously no match for these four motor vehicles when it came to flexibility. After all, even a powerful force like the Han Tribe had to lay large amounts of expensive steel on the ground to keep a train running, whereas these four strangely shaped vehicles needed no such thing. They could travel freely along ordinary dirt roads.
Only now did the members of the White House Tribe suddenly realize that although they had learned many advanced technologies from the Han Tribe—architecture, farming, animal husbandry, clothing cutting and sewing, and so on—they were still completely blank when it came to more advanced technology. The various good things displayed by the Han Tribe seemed to have no end. Technologies that could be called divine miracles kept springing up one after another, like corn bursting from the earth.
Forget about high technology like trains and other steam-powered vehicles. Even the Han Tribe's wooden carts, mills, waterwheels, and sailboats were things they could only long for without ever obtaining.
"Th-these vehicles were all made by the Han Tribe too?!"
