The sky was a clear blue, white clouds drifted overhead, and the sun hung high in the heavens. Pale-blue seawater rolled with the waves, while the salty sea breeze billowed the sails and drove the ship through wind and waves.

Flocks of white seabirds circled low over the water. Every so often, one plunged down like an arrow, then emerged in the blink of an eye with a silvery Knife Fish clamped in its beak before spreading its wings and soaring away again.

Some grew tired from flying and landed on the tall ship's side to rest for a while. Then a bare-chested sailor would knock them down with a club, capturing bird and fish alike.

"Hahahaha! We'll have silverfish stewed with bird soup for lunch!"

Ox-Tail stood at the bow, watching them enviously. Then he burped and rubbed his belly. After several days aboard the ship at sea, he had discovered that he had actually grown fatter.

The ocean's food resources were truly abundant. Whether fish in the water or birds in the sky, as long as one had a ship, one would never have to worry about failing to make money. No matter what one did, it was easy to feed a whole group of people.
