Modun knew full well that he absolutely could not stop now. The moment he did, he would certainly be surrounded by the Han Tribe's superior forces behind him. When that happened, there would truly be no escape from certain death. Yet the several thousand Han Tribe light cavalrymen at his side were so maddening, clinging to him without letup. It was utterly infuriating.
After a brief moment of thought, Modun immediately came up with a plan. He decided to once again detach three thousand men to hold the rear and block the pursuing troops for the remnants of the main army. As for everyone else, they would flee first and worry about the rest later.
But he was not a fool, either. There was no way he would send his own men to die. After glancing around, he saw that the Xin Tribe's formation had not followed at all, while quite a number of people from the Snowfield Wolf Tribe had come along. More importantly, their Chieftain was gone. Whether he was dead or had fled did not matter. What mattered was that Modun could find a way to make use of them.
Having thought of a plan, Modun immediately said something to the personal guard beside him. The guard at once broke away from the formation and rode toward the Snowfield Wolf Tribe, then shouted loudly at them.
