Once the frame, chain, gears, pedals, and tires had all been installed, the main body of a vehicle was basically complete. However, to ride it normally, they still needed to install a seat and hand brakes. Without those two things, it still couldn't be ridden.

The Han Tribe's leatherworking had developed long ago, so making a leather seat was naturally no problem. The only troublesome part was the Shock Absorbing Spring beneath the seat.

After arranging for the blacksmiths to forge the springs, Luo Chong also drew up the seat's design. At the very bottom was a steel pipe used to connect it to the vehicle body. Above that was the spring frame, then the spring, followed by a triangular sheet of thin metal. A layer of cork was added for shock absorption, and finally the whole thing was wrapped in leather.

A basket at the front of the handlebars was naturally indispensable as well. However, to make the vehicle easier to promote, they naturally had to reduce costs. Wherever they could save, they had to save. Lowering the price would increase people's purchasing power, so Luo Chong chose baskets woven from rattan or bamboo. They could also simply leave out the basket and let the common people weave one themselves and tie it on. That wouldn't be a problem either.

The brakes were slightly more troublesome. Modern bicycles all used Brake Cables. These were thin ropes twisted from fine steel wire, with a rubber tube wrapped around the outside and a gap left within, making them look rather like electrical wires. However, with the Han Tribe's current level of technology, making them would be quite difficult.
