The Internet.
An informatized world, one that possessed almost everything the real world had—even someone had once said this:
Whoever controlled the Internet would become the master of the entire world.
But...
That was clearly an exaggeration.
Putting aside everything else, at the very least, the nuclear facilities of every country were disconnected from the Internet.
But...
If someone could control the Internet, calling them a god might be going too far, but saying they were omniscient and omnipotent might not be an exaggeration.
Especially in this Marvel Universe.
Two different life forms were parasitic on the Internet.
One was Jarvis, Tony Stark's personal assistant, developed and created by Tony Stark and programmed to serve him like a butler who had worked for many years.
And the other...
Was Zola, once a Hydra scientist who later participated in Operation Paperclip and became a S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist, before uploading his consciousness to the Internet through a device.
If Jarvis was good, then Zola was evil.
And not just ordinary evil—extremely evil.
Actually...
Zola had lived a rather miserable life all these years. Think about it carefully. When he had first uploaded his consciousness and transformed himself into an electronic life-form, the Internet was at most like a village. Walking from one end of the village to the other took no more than ten minutes. Back then, Zola had been the village tyrant.
Time passed.
After the Internet underwent explosive growth over the years, Zola finally felt that he could transform from a village tyrant into the so-called king of the world.
But he was wrong.
The moment Zola had just emerged from the village, before he could shout, "I am the king of the world," he suddenly discovered that there was an existence on the Internet that was no weaker than him
