Background / History

Liu Wushuang arrived in Jianghai as a Supreme Alliance envoy investigating the mysterious Jianghai Arrow God. Believing the Arrow God may have acted in connection with the deceased Jianghai Sword God, he obtained Li Zixuan’s background from the Police Chief Commander and followed the trail to Jianghai Martial Arts Academy and Qin Yang. He was identified as the Sword God’s disciple and was driven by a desire to clarify his master’s death. 208 209

At Qin Yang’s villa, Liu attempted to break the House Protecting Array with his Mystic Bow, only for the formation to neutralize his attack. He then pressured Qin Yang for information on the Arrow God, but withdrew after Qin Yang refused to yield and challenged the Arrow God to an archery duel at Lishui Lake. 210 212

Liu lost the public duel when the Jianghai Arrow God’s arrow shattered his own attack and snapped the Mystic Bow’s string. Rather than responding with hostility, he acknowledged the Arrow God’s superior skill and formally invited him into the Supreme Alliance, offering manuals, divine weapons, law insights, and the alliance’s protection. Qin Yang’s questions about the alliance’s inaction during beast tides left Liu unable to offer a satisfactory explanation. 216 218

When the Beast God Sect ambushed the Arrow God after the duel, Liu returned to the scene but was prevented from intervening by White Tiger Earth Venerable’s threat against civilians and the constraints of the Blood Spirit Contract. The Arrow God’s apparent self-destruction left Liu deeply ashamed; he accepted responsibility for having pressured Qin Yang and attempted to compensate him with his personal Arrow Art Manual and a gold token. 219 221 222

Liu later accompanied Qi Qingshan on a Supreme Alliance operation against Qin Yang. Although he tried to mediate, Qi’s aggressive conduct led both men into conflict with Zha Tian Gang members. Liu attempted to protect Qi Qingshan and negotiate, but was trapped by the Imprisoning Sky Finger and witnessed the overwhelming strength of the gang. 242 248

His faith in the Supreme Alliance collapsed after Meng Tianxuan’s cowardice and abuse of power became public.
