Repost: Manchester City released a video of their preparations ahead of the Champions League final.
The video Manchester City posted on Twitter looked like some kind of variety show, with the players boarding the coach carrying bags and luggage of all sizes.
"We're heading to Manchester Airport now."
No idea whose voice that was—probably the cameraman's.
"Hey, Erling, how are you feeling right now?"
The camera turned to Haaland. Manchester City's striker was adjusting his sitting position. "Well... pretty good. Even though we just lost the FA Cup, I think we have a better chance of winning the Champions League."
Haaland pointed his right index finger at the camera. "Tom won't keep winning forever, I promise."
"Haha!"
"Thanks for the interview, Erling. Here's to success."
After that, the cameraman interviewed De Bruyne and several other players.
Despite having just lost the FA Cup, Manchester City's players were generally still quite confident.
Manchester United had won two whole Champions League titles over the past few seasons. That simply wasn't normal.
No team could keep winning so many Champions League titles in a row!
Not even with Tang Ye and Ousmane Dembélé in the squad!
"Okay, sit down, everyone sit down! We're ready to leave!"
Pep Guardiola stood at the front of the coach, clapping to quiet everyone down. "We'll arrive in Istanbul tonight. Get some rest while you can. I don't want to keep stressing how important tomorrow's match is. You all know it in your hearts."
"This is our last chance this season."
Guardiola habitually scratched his scalp before suddenly turning serious.
"Beat Manchester United and win the Champions League. That is the only possible outcome tomorrow!"
"Wow!!!"
[Scared shitless.]
[666666, he wants the Champions League that badly? But Manchester City really are damn good. This season, I've rarely seen
