Origin and Nature

The Great Qian Dynasty classified beasts and Fierce Beasts fused with Demon Spirits as Demonic Beasts. Although Fierce Beasts were already physically formidable, Demon Spirit fusion grants them intelligence, mutation, and the ability to continuously temper and strengthen their bodies. Within a century of their emergence, the Celestial Master lineage was nearly exterminated. 9

Demonic Beasts are not merely instinct-driven monsters. They possess intelligence, civilization, social systems, and the capacity to communicate and coordinate; sufficiently advanced individuals can speak human language. 47 233 251

Most outbreaks originate from Demon Realm Rifts. Unguarded rifts allow Demon Spirits to merge with nearby Fierce Beasts, while larger Demon Spirits develop especially quickly: a large Demon Spirit can turn a host into a High-tier Great Demonic Beast within a year, and may become a Demonic Beast King after consuming large numbers of humans. 120

Biology and Capabilities

Physical Strength and Durability

Demonic Beasts fight primarily through physical strength rather than True Qi or Gang Qi. A high-ranking specimen can exert tens of thousands of pounds of force, and its full-power strike is compared to a multi-ton iron pillar swung at supersonic speed. 12

Society and Human Settlements

Demonic Beasts maintain controlled human settlements for both resources and psychological warfare. Some settlements trade with humans, accept exiles, and serve as bait for human experts; others are built around enormous Demon Realm Rifts and function as foundations for rapid Demon Spirit descent and growth. 527

In Chilong Territory, Demon Emperors established systems that selected obedient humans to govern millions under Demonic Beast rule. They also permitted controlled resistance movements, sometimes providing instinct-driven Demonic Beasts as targets, so that resistance could be cultivated and then crushed. 479

The Demonic Beasts also manipulated the development of the Human Immortal path, intending for future Spiritual Venerables to use Human Immortal bodies as descent vessels and bypass the weaker stages of Demonic Beast growth. 520
