The silence within the Inverted Domain was shattered by the howls of the Octopus Monster horde.
Min Zimo swept his gaze around, his heart sinking.
The "floating island" beneath their feet was long and narrow, seemingly suited for defense.
But it was connected to three other floating landmasses of varying sizes, which meant they had to defend against enemies approaching from three directions at once.
With the team's current combat strength, that was simply impossible.
His gaze swiftly swept across the entire bizarre, chaotic space again.
Compared with the eight levels above, the Inverted Domain was actually not very large.
More than twenty "floating islands" were scattered at different heights, barely held together by various distorted, disproportionate contents from the shopping mall.
Because of this, Min Zimo needed only one or two seconds to find the place he wanted.
It was a relatively low-lying floating island with a vast area, yet only one "bridge" connecting it to the outside—a dead end.
If they occupied it, they would only need to block the "bridge."
It was exactly the same strategy they had used while defending the eighth level.
"Keep up!" Min Zimo barked, moving first.
Taking advantage of the gap before more Octopus Monsters could complete their encirclement, the team followed him onto a "bridge" made of countless floating fragments of stone and twisted steel bars.
They sprinted all the way to the end.
On the second floating island, four or five Octopus Monsters had already gathered, blocking their path.
Hiss—! Hiss—!
They waved their tentacles and let out threatening hisses.
"Open!"
Min Zimo's silver spear moved like a dragon as his qi and blood erupted without reserve!
A crimson spear flash suddenly pierced forward. The core of an Octopus Monster directly before him was instantly impaled and exploded, while broken
