Background / History
Inkstone Territory became unusually prosperous under its Count. Its roads used cement, and its trade included porcelain, mirrors, and other goods; later accounts also credited the territory with inventions such as soap, glass, and newspapers. The scale of these changes led some protagonists to suspect that Su Mo was a transmigrator. 6 240
His territory’s wealth was visibly demonstrated by its fleet of Magic Airships, each reportedly costing tens of thousands of gold coins. Inkstone Territory was also reputed to offer the Crescent Kingdom’s best wages and benefits: free schooling and meals for commoners’ children, medical treatment for injured craftsmen, and paid work for women. 23 49
Su Mo used the airships to locate suspected protagonists and carried out covert captures across Crescent Kingdom cities. After stripping one protagonist’s system, he advanced from Bronze to Silver-grade Villain. 23 24
Personality
Su Mo consistently operates through preparation, institutional influence, and overwhelming escalation rather than open confrontation alone. He uses arrests, political legitimacy, religious authority, and public opinion to isolate targets before acting against them. 83 105 106
He is also willing to exploit both allies and enemies as resources: he seized protagonists’ Fortune and cheats, used captured figures to accumulate points, and manipulated hostile factions into weakening one another. 65 99 269
