When the door to Scarlet-level Carriage No. 10 opened, Ling Xu volunteered to enter, and Zhang Guangmu followed him inside.

Zhang Guangmu killed Xiao Qiu, who left him a message revealing three possible endings for passengers and pointing him toward Singularity Station and the world's Despairing Truth. With the clones gone, Zhang Guangmu and Chu Fan were the only ones left in the office as the final act began.

After becoming Train Conductor, Zhang Guangmu sealed the dead leads in coffins, stopped time on the train, and set its course for Singularity Station. He stepped off the train into a swamp, where the Director said the supposedly true ending was an unavoidable Despair Ending and that they could finally face the Ultimate Life.

• Zhang Guangmu received the Train Conductor’s implanted memories and restored the office, sealing Li Xiaoxiao, Ling Xu, and Xiao Qiu in coffins.
