Zhang Guangmu gathered the survivors, took control of S District, and fought to protect humanity as Ye Jie and the Princess became entangled with the Blazing Bone Beasts. The arc left the Princess under pressure to cooperate and the Heavenly Dao as Zhang Guangmu’s remaining challenge.

• Zhang Guangmu and Wang Shangqing defeated the mutated Blazing Bone Beast, then rallied the survivors and secured supplies despite the destruction of the modulation equipment.
• Zhang Guangmu claimed Golden Neck while Wang Shangqing took Wushuang, and Zhang learned from Luo Zhuan’s diary that Ye Jie was the true Child of Destiny.
• After Wang Shangqing died in a clash with S District’s armored masters, Zhang Guangmu killed his attackers and forced Zhu Nanhua to surrender control of the district.
• Zhang Guangmu organized S District while Ye Jie registered as a Novice Armored Master, and Zhang learned that the Princess could evolve by devouring Blazing Bone Beasts.
• White Moon and Golden Neck fused into the Ultimate Cold Light Armor, and Zhang defeated Ye Jie before explaining that he had opposed Zhu Nanhua’s plan for the Princess.
• Zhang Guangmu led S District against a beast tide, blocked the passage with Cold Flame, and learned that Luo Zhuan had died protecting a child.
• Zhang Guangmu confronted Ye Jie over his abandonment of the fight, defeated him, and revealed that the Princess was a mutated Blazing Bone Beast.
• The Princess restored Ye Jie after Zhang beheaded him, then agreed to halt a new beast assault when Zhang threatened both of their lives if S District residents were harmed.

After securing humanity’s future in the Cold Light world, Zhang Guangmu entered The World Knows and turned his journey toward the capital into a campaign to study demons and gather followers. He left Tang Lanshan committed to his cause and confronted Yang Chi with an unexpected offer of adoption.

• Zhang Guangmu defeated the Pretender, Swordsman, and Wizard, declared the start of a new human era, and completed the Cold Light world before returning to the real world.
• Zhang Guangmu recruited Jiang Ling and Tang Lanshan for The World Knows, then clashed with Tang Kaixuan, who attacked him after Zhang exposed his insecurities.
• Zhang Guangmu entered the film as a scholar bound for the capital, defeated local toughs, and hired Miao Zhi, Tang Hua, and twenty guards to accompany him.
• Zhang Guangmu protected Dongmang Town from Night Demons and Burning Demons, captured demons with the Town Evil Pendant, and gained a following that grew to sixty travelers.
• Zhang Guangmu exposed Miao Zhi’s plot to kill him for immortal flesh and ordered his execution, then rejected the Control Group’s advice to delay his demon research until after the imperial examination.
• Zhang Guangmu taught Demonic Studies, summoned fog and thunder, and convinced his followers that his knowledge could help them understand and fight demons.
• Tang Lanshan defied the Script Hint to return to the capital, followed Zhang Guangmu, and resolved to serve him after witnessing him destroy Night Demons.
• Zhang Guangmu demonstrated the Town Evil Pendant’s power to release demons, then met Yang Chi and asked him to become his son after Tang Lanshan foresaw Yang Chi’s future imperial destiny.

After defeating Tang Kaixuan and confronting Shang Guizang, Zhang Guangmu completed The World Knows and entered a new Film World with Mooncake. There, he built a mercenary force and set his sights on Mushroom City, where Li Xiaoxiao backed him against Richard.

• Zhang Guangmu became the top scholar, then led his followers against Marquis Tang’s forces after Zhao Yanqing killed Yuwen Chengzai.
• Zhang Guangmu killed Tang Kaixuan in battle, and Tang Lanshan finished him off after Zhang released him at the clinic.
• Shang Guizang revealed that he was Zhang Guangmu’s father and offered him the future position of Department Master, but Zhang defeated him and declared his plan to unify the departments and spread demonic knowledge.
• Zhang Guangmu received an Excellent evaluation for The World Knows, reunited with his companions, and entered The Path of the Great Emperor with Mooncake.
• In Mushroom City, Zhang Guangmu defeated Fander Hua’s thugs and forced Fander to lead him to the Gun God Mercenary Group’s base.
• Chu Fan made Zhang Guangmu vice-leader of the Gun God Mercenary Group, and Zhang defeated the Comical Mercenary Group before recruiting its survivors.
• Zhang Guangmu promised the expanded force of forty-four mercenaries a chance to become Magic Apprentices and led them to the City Lord’s mansion.
• Richard threatened Zhang Guangmu’s group, but Li Xiaoxiao declared that Zhang and his men were his guests.

Zhang Guangmu took control of Mushroom City, expanded its influence, and advanced from apprentice to a powerful Mage while gathering allies and magic knowledge. In Niugan City, he confronted Fang Cheng as she attacked the city, and their battle continued with Zhang Guangmu using electromagnetic magic to counter her.

• Zhang Guangmu defeated Richard in a duel, became Mushroom City’s lord, and kept Richard alive to teach him magic.
• Zhang Guangmu established new incentives and plans for Mushroom City, defeated Winnie, and left Chu Fan in charge before traveling with Li Xiaoxiao to confront Umbrella City.
• Zhang Guangmu defeated George, acquired his Magic Alchemy Rings, and became a Formal Mage while securing Umbrella City’s alliance with Mushroom City.
• Zhang Guangmu returned to Mushroom City, created Envy magic, and left Li Xiaoxiao and Chu Fan in charge as he traveled to Niugan City with Mooncake.
• Zhang Guangmu registered as an official Mage in Niugan City and uncovered Jack’s attempt to arrest him with help from Chi Doudou.
• Zhang Guangmu killed Jack and Lolice, learned electromagnetic magic, and advanced to middle-ranking Mage as Fang Cheng began destroying Niugan City.
• Fang Cheng killed Ximen Lai, Wu Yilang, and Yi Wenfa, then fought Zhang Guangmu in the sky as he used electromagnetic magic to evade and weaken her.
