The clouds were torn open by the currents of air. Zao Kang's gaunt body suddenly swelled, knotted muscles bulging beneath his monk's robes as his palms, once pressed together, clenched into fists as large as water vats.
The fists were wrapped in howling Gale Force, their knuckles gleaming blue as though they could shatter an entire mountain range.
Even the surrounding air was pressed into creaking wails. Before the fists even arrived, the scattered rocks on the ground had already been shaken into the air.
"The Buddha does not save evil men!"
The monk let out a thunderous roar. Spittle mixed with blood sprayed into the wind as his fist came crashing toward Hua Qiang with the force to destroy heaven and earth.
There was not the slightest trace of a monk's compassion in that stance. He looked more like an enraged savage beast, ready to grind the man before him into powder, bones and flesh alike.
Even the sunlight was mostly blocked by the shadow of that fist, leaving nothing between heaven and earth but this tyrannical black silhouette.
"Fancy moves with no real power!"
Hua Qiang scoffed. He first pulled out a cigarette and placed it between his lips, then lit it with a lighter and took a drag.
He exhaled a cloud of smoke, then casually raised a hand.
His stance did not change. There was even half an unextinguished cigarette between his fingers as he pushed out his palm flatly, the movement as light as brushing dust from his lapel.
A faint white glow, nearly invisible, surfaced in his palm. The instant it collided with the enormous fist, the violent force actually receded like a tide.
