"Guada, Guada!"
"Oh-ho, oh-ho!"
With a series of roars whose syllables shifted in an especially distinctive way, dawn broke.
The one making those sounds was not a rooster, but the caveman tribe's chief—a huge man at least two and a half meters tall.
Then the whole cave quickly descended into chaos. First, the strong male cavemen joined in, followed by the strong female cavemen, and then the children who had woken up joined in as well.
All right, the waves of sound produced by those voices were just like exploding thunder. Zhang Yang seriously wondered whether they could trigger an earthquake.
Of course, setting aside the matter of shame, he absolutely refused to imitate them. But after more than ten seconds, when the entire cave suddenly fell silent and dozens of pairs of glowing green eyes all turned toward him in unison, Zhang Yang immediately started shouting in a remarkably lifelike imitation.
"Guada, Guada!"
"Oh-ho, oh-ho!"
MMP!
All right, perhaps this was simply the cavemen's way of saying good morning to each other, like asking, "Have you eaten?"
Zhang Yang consoled himself.
At that moment, the enormous stone blocking the cave entrance was moved aside. The cavemen's chief and five strong cavemen pushed together, and the stone—which probably weighed tens of thousands of jin (Well, I'm no mathematical genius either, so why are you hung up on a few numbers?)—was shoved away.
The sunlight outside was bright, dazzling, and warm.
Yet not one caveman rushed out. Instead, they panted heavily at one another, making sounds resembling beasts preparing to hunt.
And outside, there seemed to be nothing at all.
A few seconds later, the huge chief suddenly shot out. He was as fast as lightning. Then even more cavemen charged outside, their speed comparable to a hundred-meter sprint. Zhang Yang
