"One-Eyed Hank?"
"That's me!"
Zhang Yang brought Aisha before a group of twenty-four people. The one-eyed man was impossible to miss.
"Understand the rules?"
"I do."
"Good. Keep an eye on your little girl. No one can make a mistake in battle, because the price of a mistake is death." One-Eyed Hank's voice was hoarse, and his only remaining eye was as cold and merciless as a jackal's.
Aisha glanced at Zhang Yang. Only now did she understand how cruel the outside world truly was. The terrifying aura surrounding One-Eyed Hank and his men was enough to make her suffocate.
"Introduce yourselves. I believe anyone with the guts to come to the Lost Land to hunt isn't some nobody."
"I'm a knight, but I'm no worse on foot. I don't want to say much about the rest. As for my little sister here, she's a Wild Priestess who knows Basic Healing Spell. If your head's been cut off, your body smashed to pieces, your organs shredded, or your eyes gouged out, don't come looking for her. That'd only waste a spell slot. Hmm, she can only use it three times a day."
Zhang Yang spoke indifferently. In truth, given Aisha's terrifying healing ability, even if someone's head had been chopped off, she could save them as long as there was enough time. But he couldn't go around saying that.
"Life Magic?"
Sure enough, One-Eyed Hank's cold and cruel expression changed at once, and many of his men pricked up their ears.
"Fine. Count her as part of the combat force. Based on the average, give her seventy percent of the spoils."
One-Eyed Hank quickly gave his answer—and it was twenty percent higher than Zhang Yang's share.
"But a Wild Priestess, eh, brother? You've got some nerve. You're a real man."
