"Tony, Anderson, Bob, go kill them!"
Three riders were gravely wounded, so Zhang Yang directly picked the three most promising recruits and had them finish the men off. It was rare experience. Under normal circumstances, they would never have been able to kill riders above level 25.
"Yes, Captain!"
Recruit Anderson shouted loudly. Gripping his spear, he thrust with all his might at a gravely wounded rider, killing him instantly.
Recruit Tony followed close behind, and Bob was last. They were not men of peaceful times. In this era, when human lives were treated like grass, they had long since understood both killing and being killed. They had been terrified of poverty and hunger. Now that they had a chance to break free from their fates, how could they possibly let it slip away?
As the three riders sprayed blood, trembled helplessly, and died screaming, it was not only Anderson and the other two who flushed with excitement. The other recruits were all filled with envy as well. Not one of them showed the legendary reaction of vomiting after killing someone.
Now that was normal. From childhood to adulthood, they had probably seen no shortage of corpses or killings.
Killing someone granted levels. Anderson and the other two each rose two levels in succession, mainly because their levels had been so low—they were only level 4, and their current primary class was still Farmer.
After a brief moment of thought, Zhang Yang assigned each of them some points, but still put the first point into Intelligence. That gave them four skill points.
