I just got home. Updates will resume tomorrow, and I'll make up the missed chapters.
This trip back to the countryside for Ancestral Worship was also a spur-of-the-moment decision. I hadn't returned to my old rural home in many years, and some things happened there that even I didn't know how to explain.
I won't write about the details, for fear of being reported.
Also, two years ago, I met a stranger in front of a temple.
He gave me a sentence.
'When young, do not study Buddhism and Daoism; when old, do not cultivate Confucianism.'
And he told me about something that was happening a thousand kilometers away. At that very moment, I called three minutes later to verify it.
I didn't know how I felt either. Because of this series of events, I made the last-minute decision to return to my hometown for Ancestral Worship this year. I hadn't gone back to the rural home for a long time, and the roads were hard to travel. Still, it finally put my mind at ease. Updates will resume tomorrow.
I've kept track of every chapter I owe.
I'll make them all up.
Lastly, thank you to every reader friend who has supported me to this day.
