History

The External Brain first manifested as a gray interface after Chen Luo contacted a corpse. It assessed the corpse’s brainwave damage and allowed him to read the dead man’s final fixation, yielding a strength-enhancing prescription. Chen Luo quickly recognized that the system could read the lingering brainwaves of the dead. 1

Its utility changed once Chen Luo applied martial instruction to those memories. Rather than merely replaying obsessions, individual brainwaves could demonstrate skills according to their former owners’ understanding, allowing Chen Luo to use successive perspectives to correct and refine his stance training. 5

The Royal Family Brain marked the first major qualitative upgrade. It occupied the central position in Chen Luo’s consciousness, assessed the flaws hidden in his accumulated Black Tiger Fist experience, and rebuilt his training direction around stronger spiritual cultivation and greater agility. 13 17 The later Dried Corpse Brain transformed the system further: after initially threatening Chen Luo with overload, it caused the other External Brains to become more proactive and responsive. 65 67

Brains proficient in danger sensing issue warnings, formation masters focus on nodes and restrictions, alchemists evaluate materials, and combat specialists identify openings or evasive routes. 121 340 Individual components can nevertheless display distinct tendencies: the Dried Corpse Brain is stabilizing and methodical, while the Death-Seeking Brain is noted for unusually radical ideas. 335 468
