Dragon Power Awakens
"Hot."
That was the only sensation Stella had at that moment.
When Stella drank the small vial of Dragon Blood, she felt as though a mass of lava had been injected into her body. Her heart immediately began pounding with tremendous force, as if stimulated, while the blood flowing through her veins seemed to turn into lava, becoming hotter than ever before.
This heat was different from the scorching flames she had endured when awakening and learning her abilities in the past.
The flames had caused nothing more than superficial burns.
But this time, the heat came from within and spread outward, as though it were setting all of Stella's internal organs ablaze. The pain and discomfort were extraordinary.
"Ugh... ah...!"
Stella bent over, a pained cry escaping her throat.
"Bang!"
The empty bottle that had originally contained the Dragon Blood slipped from Stella's hand and hit the ground. With a crisp crack, it shattered into pieces.
"Thump-thump—thump-thump—thump-thump—"
The next second, the powerful beating of Stella's heart rang out with crystal clarity from her suffering body.
"Hey...!"
Seeing Stella in such agony and distress, Shizuku instinctively prepared to move closer.
"Don't go over there, Shizuku!"
Ikki suddenly grabbed Shizuku and shouted at her.
His shout was filled with a sense of urgency and tension unlike anything before.
Clearly, his extraordinary battle instincts and the power of the Mind's Eye, attained through the way of the sword, had allowed him to sense it.
He had sensed that a terrifying existence was awakening right before his eyes.
Naturally, if Ikki could sense it, Luo Zhen could not have failed to notice it either.
At the very least, through the observation of Spiritual Vision, Luo Zhen could already see the yin energy that originally belonged to a human woman gradually
