"Ugh..."
Alice and Chris were seated in their respective places, looking perfectly obedient. In truth, their eyes were filled with terror, and cold sweat trickled down their foreheads.
At that moment, neither Alice nor Chris could move. Even after exhausting every means at their disposal, they still couldn't move a muscle.
Not a single person around them noticed anything unusual. They even seemed not to see Luo Zhen at all, continuing to sneak glances at Alice and Chris.

"I specifically dumped all the cleanup work on my junior and came here to have a heart-to-heart with the two of you. Surely you can spare me at least this much face?"

"After all, I played this game to the end with you two. Since that's the case, it shouldn't be too much to ask you to humor me for a while, right?"
Luo Zhen spoke as though he had truly come here for tea.
Alice and Chris, however, were in no mood to enjoy themselves like Luo Zhen.
"W-what exactly did you do to us?"
Alice tremblingly questioned him, seemingly terrified.
Her body had gone against her will and become completely immobile. To Alice, that was by no means a pleasant experience.
The unknown circumstances and unfamiliar situation caused Alice, who had a fragile side to her, to lose her composure.

"Being scared by something of this level is a little disappointing, isn't it?" Luo Zhen said with a smile. "Compared to what you did to me, this is already very gentle."
