Seeing Sigrut draw his weapon in a fit of humiliation and rage, the two Wind Elf players behind him cried out in unison.
"What are you trying to do!? Sigrut!"
Leafa's expression changed completely.
"He drew his sword!"
"Sigrut drew his sword!"
The surrounding Wind Elf players also erupted into an uproar.
The entire hall on the first floor of the Tower of Winds instantly became noisy and chaotic.
In ALO, mutual slaughter between different races was encouraged.
PK between different races was accepted, and it was quite intense.
Although not all races were hostile toward one another, from the system's perspective alone, different races could indeed compete.
For example, outside the Safe Zone, killing players of another race would never turn a player's name orange or even red. Thus, when players of different races encountered each other, it was hardly strange for them to start fighting immediately. That was also why Leafa hated the Fire Elves so much. Taking advantage of this setting, they had been targeting the Wind Elf race outside the Safe Zone and extracting huge amounts of money and items from them.
In addition, when a player of another race entered a city belonging to a different race, they could not attack players of that territory's race. The players of that territory's race, however, could freely cut down players of other races who entered their city inside the Safe Zone.
This showed just what kind of system encouraging PK existed in ALO.
But mutual slaughter between members of the same race was another matter entirely.
At the very least, such behavior was not accepted when it happened inside the Safe Zone.
"Aren't you afraid of being punished by Shuoye?"
Leafa shouted at Sigrut.
The Shuoye she mentioned
