Afterward, Luo Zhen and Asuna chatted in the room for a while before coming out, ready to have lunch.
Strangely, though, when the two of them came out, not only was lunch still not ready, but Kiritani Midori, Kirito, and Naoha all seemed to scurry away in a panic, as if they had been doing something bad. They looked extremely hurried.
Asuna found it rather strange.
Luo Zhen merely rolled his eyes.
How could Luo Zhen possibly have failed to notice those three hiding nearby and eavesdropping?
Even without using any of his Mysteries, surely he could still detect three ordinary people sneaking around?
That was precisely why Luo Zhen had not done anything to Asuna in the room.
Otherwise, with a delicate beauty sitting on his bed—and his fiancée at that—while he was still a young man who had never had a woman, wouldn't it have been too wasteful not to do anything?
In the end, because he had noticed those three, Luo Zhen had done nothing and merely chatted with Asuna all morning. Nothing enjoyable had happened.
Of course, to Kiritani Midori and the others, Luo Zhen bringing a girl home was already entertaining enough.
Thanks to that, during the delayed lunch, Kiritani Midori kept directing one question after another at Asuna, leaving her looking a little troubled. She couldn't help feeling secretly relieved.
Thankfully, I listened to Luo Zhen and didn't mention the marriage.
Otherwise, not only Kiritani Midori, but even Kirito and Naoha would have been startled and then asked a whole mountain of questions, right?
For now, only Kiritani Midori kept asking questions. Kirito simply ate his meal as if it had nothing to do with him, showing no curiosity at all about Asuna's arrival.
