Marion Canyon.
As a canyon located south of Glocken City, it had once been a favorite place for many players to lie in ambush. They would wait for prey to walk in on its own, then earn the income they needed through surprise attacks.
However, after its reputation as the Land of Death spread, the place was completely abandoned.
Players would rather take a detour than pass through here to reach Glocken City. Even if they lay in ambush, they would never encounter any prey, so naturally, no one was willing to hunt here anymore. For nearly half a year, the canyon had been almost completely deserted, and it was truly desolate.
Yet today, a large group of ambushers had arrived.
Dain's squad members, who were lying in wait on the sheer face of a cliff, were complaining.
"I didn't expect there to be so many people here waiting in ambush."
"Those information brokers are really despicable."
"They must have made a fortune selling the same information to so many people, right?"
"It's infuriating."
The players, each carrying a firearm and hiding behind rocks, whispered among themselves in anger and frustration.
Lying behind a boulder, Sinon listened to her teammates complain for what was probably the umpteenth time. At the same time, she opened the scope cover on her Sniper Rifle, moved the rifle, and surveyed all four sides of the cliff.
There were fully armed players hiding all around the cliff, some holding firearms and others using tactical binoculars to observe the passage below. There were so many of them that the number was at least fifty.
Moreover, among these numerous players were several fairly famous figures.
