"You Still Have Me."
Some might ask: since they wanted to leave their names on the Swordsman's Monument, why not recruit more players and form a large force to conquer the Floor Boss?
In reality, they had no choice.
The monument's surface was limited, while Aincrad had a total of one hundred floors. If every player who participated in a battle had their name engraved on it, each floor would have at least dozens of players' names. After one hundred floors, there would be several thousand names—simply not enough space to record every conqueror.
Thus, in the end, at most seven names could appear on the monument, which happened to be the number of members in a small party.
In other words, if a single party defeated a Floor Boss, all its members could leave their names on the monument.
But if the number exceeded that, only the leaders of the party or group could leave their names behind.
Luo Zhen was living proof of this.
Nearly half the names on the Swordsman's Monument belonged to Luo Zhen. Since the large forces he led had defeated quite a few Floor Bosses, whether he challenged them alone or led a party, only his name would ultimately be recorded. As a result, Luo Zhen's name occupied nearly half the monument, which was truly astonishing.
If the Sleeping Knight's goal was for everyone to leave their names on the Swordsman's Monument, then they could only form a seven-person party to challenge the Floor Boss.
For this reason, Yuuki wanted to find another strong player and form a seven-person party with the members of the Sleeping Knight to challenge it together.
This was not particularly unusual.
Whether it was a VRMMO or another kind of game, players usually had to spend a great deal
