Dizzy and disoriented.
That was the only feeling Kyoko had at the moment.
As she watched scene after scene unfold before her eyes, only one thought remained in Kyoko's mind.
"Am I dreaming?"
Kyoko couldn't help but wonder.
After all, everything before her was simply too bizarre to be believed.
Kyoko had always thought that spiritual disasters like the Jōshi Great Exorcism and the Jōshi Second Exorcism were already terrifying enough. Not only had Phase 4 appeared, but countless Phase 3s had also run rampant. The Night of a Hundred Demons had been an unimaginable nightmare.
But only now did Kyoko realize how naive she had been.
Terrifying?
Compared to everything before her, that was nothing.
The demons born from spiritual disasters were, at most, beings that had only just taken shape. They posed a threat, but they could still be exorcised.
The beings appearing before her, however, were not newly born infants. They were existences that had emerged long, long ago.
Some were kings who ruled over demons.
Some were leaders who commanded monsters.
Some were masters of Demons and Monsters.
Some were terrifying fiends that had once wreaked havoc in various places, only to be slain in the end and give rise to one hero after another.
Now, these beings had appeared one after another. Those that had once been defeated and those that had vanished without a trace had all shown themselves.
Compared to them, the so-called Phase 4 was nothing more than a joke.
This was the true Night of a Hundred Demons.
This was a disaster.
Compared to this, spiritual disasters were merely a laughingstock.
Given all this, Kyoko couldn't help wondering whether she was dreaming.
Unfortunately, everything was real.
