"Let go of me!"
Ishtar's furious voice rang loudly through Uruk's Divine Tower.
At that moment, Ishtar remained slumped on the ground, struggling nonstop. Her pretty face had already flushed bright red from shame and anger.
However, under the restraints of a barrier that could seal away magical power and a grand magecraft from the Age of Gods, even a goddess found it difficult to break free of the rope-like radiance wrapped around her body. Ishtar was practically beside herself with rage.
And yet, the angrier Ishtar became, the more delighted Gilgamesh grew.
"What a splendid sight. The greatest spoiled girl in history, the great goddess whom even the Father of the Gods and all the heavenly deities doted on, that proud and overbearing goddess, has actually become a prisoner in the city she guarded. It must be quite the experience, don't you think?"
Gilgamesh deliberately provoked Ishtar, sending her fury skyrocketing.
"Who are you calling the greatest spoiled girl in history? You're the most conceited bastard in history!"
Ishtar gnashed her teeth and hurled the insult back at him.
Gilgamesh, however, was completely unfazed.
"I am indeed the strongest existence in history. You needn't emphasize that point. Humans and the gods all know it."
Gilgamesh said it as though it were the most natural thing in the world.
"I said you were conceited! I wasn't praising you, you idiot!"
Ishtar glared at him.
"Of course I know you weren't praising me. Even if the heavens collapsed and the earth split apart, the only person you'd ever praise would be yourself, you truly conceited goddess."
Gilgamesh seemed to be enjoying Ishtar's fury. His expression showed no trace of annoyance, only endless delight.
"Grrrrrr...!"
Ishtar knew that no matter how much she said, it would not change the fact that she
