At a corner of Uruk's streets, not far from the Divine Tower, Siduri lifted the curtain serving as a door and invited Luo Zhen and the others inside.
What appeared before them was a moderately sized space. It looked somewhat old, and its layout resembled a tavern's bar. A staircase beside it led all the way upstairs. Judging from the outside, it was at least a three-story building.
"This was originally a tavern that specialized in selling ale, so the first floor is a public area. The second and third floors are living quarters, however, and there are plenty of rooms. It will have no trouble accommodating ten people, so feel free to use the place as you wish."
Siduri said this to Luo Zhen and Mashu.
But the first to react was neither Luo Zhen nor Mashu, but one of the bystanders.
"Oh, it can accommodate ten people, and it's a tavern that specializes in selling ale, too. Excellent, truly excellent. It's much better than my room in the Divine Tower."
Merlin, holding his staff, nodded repeatedly with great seriousness as he appraised the place.
"A human dwelling..."
Anna carefully surveyed her surroundings. Her attitude seemed to suggest some distaste, but there was not much disgust in her voice. Apparently, she did not dislike the place all that much.
Compared to Merlin and Anna, however, another person's attitude was completely different.
"A place like this is practically a sheep pen compared to my sleeping quarters in my temple. If you let me go, I may even help you find a better place. This is an unprecedented bargain, the best treatment worthy of mythology! I've gone this far, so you should let me go already, shouldn't you!?"
