In the throne room of the Divine Tower in Uruk, King Gilgamesh had already left the Throne of Heroes and gone to the observatory. He looked out at the sky, his expression unusually grave.
"King?"
Siduri accompanied him, watching Gilgamesh with both unease and confusion in her eyes.
Just moments ago, Gilgamesh had still been handling affairs as usual. Yet all of a sudden, his expression had changed, becoming solemn. He stopped paying attention to anyone's reports or exclamations, left the throne, and came here to stare at the sky in silence.
Although Gilgamesh said nothing, Siduri knew him well enough to understand that this behavior proved just how heavy his mood was.
Siduri knew that the king must have discovered something for him to become like this.
And that was indeed the case.
"The True Ether in the atmosphere has changed. Space is trembling, and the entire land of Mesopotamia seems to be wailing. Even the era itself is fluctuating. It seems an extraordinary situation has arisen."
