Luo Zhen had never heard of a Servant losing the memories of their life before death.

Of course, that only meant Luo Zhen had never encountered such a case.

In fact, all sorts of reasons could cause a Servant to lose their memories.

A mistake during the summoning, entering a particularly special magecraft domain, having someone use memory-erasing magecraft on them, being struck by a Noble Phantasm that erased memories, and so on—any of these things could happen.

So even if someone had deliberately erased Medea's memories of her life before death, leaving behind only those from the period when she was infatuated with Jason while causing all her later memories to vanish, it would not have been anything worth finding strange.

In fact, that was exactly what Luo Zhen had guessed at first.

Seeing how Medea tirelessly served Jason, Luo Zhen had assumed that the Witch's memories had been erased, which was why she had become like this.

In other words, just as he had in life, Jason intended to use Medea's love for him to make her obey his every command, all so that he could build a country and obtain the throne.

However, erasing the memories of a Magus from the Age of Gods like Medea was no simple matter.

Unless he possessed a wish-granting device like the Holy Grail, Luo Zhen did not believe that a useless fool like Jason could accomplish such a thing.

And if her memories had not been erased—if Medea clearly remembered everything from her life before death, knew that Jason would betray and abandon her in the future, and had seen through his true nature—then how could she possibly continue to serve him tirelessly and obey his every command?

It was simply an enormous contradiction.
