Chapter 973: Do You Want to Be Friends? (Moon Tickets, Please)
Aoba.
That was only her surname.
The girl's full name was Aoba Asagi.
As mentioned before, she was Luo Zhen's classmate, a girl whose presence was difficult to describe as either high or low.
The reason her presence could be considered high was that she had remarkably refined features and outstanding grades. In her first year of middle school, her academic ability was second only to Luo Zhen's, and in several tests, she had also ranked second after him. She was a girl whose name was often called out by teachers and praised.
The reason her presence could be considered low, however, was that she was always extremely inconspicuous in the classroom. She normally never spoke or interacted with anyone, merely sitting silently in the corner, either fiddling with her phone or with the laptop she carried around. On top of that, she usually wore glasses, adding a great deal of earthiness to her otherwise refined appearance for no reason at all. As a result, almost no one had become close to her.
Yet this girl had now appeared in MAR's affiliated hospital, sitting alone on a bench and shedding tears.
The glasses on her face had also disappeared, revealing a delicate face that was too refined, yet had become exceedingly pitiful beneath the tear stains.
"You..."
Luo Zhen involuntarily stopped in his tracks and spoke hesitantly, a little surprised.
"...!"
Aoba Asagi hurriedly wiped away her tears, as if she had only just realized what she was doing. Yet she did not avoid Luo Zhen's gaze at all. Instead, she glared straight at him as though challenging him.
"Why are you here?"
Aoba Asagi questioned him in a forceful tone that differed from the impression she gave people.
