Over on the other side, Ma Feng and Yang Xiaoshu were both shocked and afraid. Toward Li Zheng—or rather, the current Meng Zhao—they were filled with resentment and killing intent. Not only had they been beaten black and blue, but all the money on them had been stripped away.
Fortunately, both of them had some sense. It looked as though they had handed over all their money, but in truth, they had kept the bulk of it on themselves.
After suffering such a huge grievance, neither had any intention of swallowing it. They ran like smoke into the village to complain at Wen San's house.
They had originally been sent out by Wen San to bring Li Zheng to his house. Now, they had merely failed to complete the task.
The two were very familiar with Wen San's home. But the moment they entered the courtyard, they heard waves of male and female panting coming from the north room. They exchanged looks and did not dare go any farther, merely waiting outside the main gate.

After a while, a tall woman with a curvaceous figure emerged from the room, her face glowing with moisture as she swayed her hips. She carried a small box in her hand, though no one knew what it contained. It was probably some benefit Wen San had given her.
"Sister-in-law Liu, heading out?"
