The martial art Hundred Ghosts Profound Gang was obtained by Fu Zeguang from the Palace Master of Mishui Immortal Palace. It originated from an extraordinary demonic scripture, the Netherworld True Skill, which came from the lineage of the ancient Ghost Witch Clan in Xiang Land of Cloud Prefecture. It was also said to be the cultivation art of one of the demon gods under Chiyou, the master of the Heavenly Demon Palace, in ancient times.
Later, through the changes of the ages, from ancient times through the medieval era and down to the present day, one or two Grandmasters cultivating the Netherworld True Skill would emerge every few generations. They annotated and trimmed it, striving for perfection, while combining it with the martial arts of their respective eras. They mixed in the essential teachings of the Daoist School, Buddhist School, Confucian School, and more, giving rise to numerous supreme arts that shared the same origin but belonged to different lineages.
Take Hundred Ghosts Profound Gang, for instance. It was hailed as the orthodox path among unorthodox schools. In truth, it had absorbed and incorporated the essence of Daoist martial arts.
