• Meng Zhao ordered the Meng Family to report the Seven Star Tower massacre and investigate Meng Yan’s disappearance and the attempt to frame them, while Gan Mingfeng hid under Luo Peng’s watch.
• Zhen Cheng guarded the captive Meng Yan until a farmer reported his suspicious behavior, and Meng Chuan, Lü Yue, Zhou Hu, and their men raided the house and captured him.

Meng Zhao joined Gan Mingfeng on an expedition to Lishou Mountain while Meng Hongdao handled the Seven Star Tower conflict and the Meng family’s political future. As Meng Zhao’s group entered the mountain, Mr. Yue and Lu Hou'er pursued the Demonic Caves, while Lu Hou'er learned that Xing Tian’s Head lay sealed beneath the mountain.

• Gan Mingfeng described Lishou Mountain’s dangers and its hidden inheritances, and Meng Zhao agreed to wait for Meng Hongdao before deciding whether to follow him there.
• Meng Hongdao arrived, learned about Meng Yan’s scandal and the Imperial Clan’s pressure on the Meng family, and backed Meng Zhao as the family’s future head while giving him a Fire Dragon Pearl.
• Meng Zhao left with Gan Mingfeng for Lishou Mountain, where they found the Pai Gang blocking access under orders from the Grandmaster Mr. Yue.
• Min Tao, Wu Chen, Peng Haibing, and Xu Tingyun joined Gan Mingfeng and Meng Zhao on a secret route into the mountain, believing Meng Zhao was a junior disciple called Little Meng.

• Meng Zhao helped the group defeat the Fire Cloud Tree’s snake-like insects and used Flood Dragon Little Nine to overpower the two snake ancestors, then identified the tree as a node in a vast formation.
• Min Tao recovered the Fire Cloud Tree’s heart, and Gan Mingfeng arranged to have it refined into pills while Meng Zhao gained insight into martial paths beyond the Red Flag Order.
• A crimson torrent shook Lishou Mountain and weakened its great formation before it restored itself, while Meng Zhao warned that the disruption might let Xing Tian’s Head act.
• A Beast Tide swept through the forest, and Meng Zhao entered enlightenment, when Peng Haibing returned with a changed aura, Meng Zhao concealed his suspicions and kept him with the group.
• Lu Hou’er killed the Tan-surnamed man after Demonic Nature intensified his desires, then told Mr. Yue that Min Tao, Wu Chen, Peng Haibing, and Xu Tingyun might have caused the disturbance.
• Third Young Master Bai pursued the Goguryeo Evil Artifact to merge its demonic power with his Blood Sacrifice Diagram, and he ordered Mr. Yue to find six sacrificial children for his Array Flags.
