After a dangerous encounter over the bronze disc, he prepared to enter seclusion and left Meng Chuan and Meng Rong to handle the Wu Family’s approach.

• Meng Zhao confronted Wu Zunyuan over Wu Kaijing and Xun Tao’s abduction of Meng Rong, then learned that both men and their followers had been killed while Meng Rong was missing.
• Meng Zhao and Meng Chuan found Meng Rong safe, and she described how an unknown old man had rescued her and brought her back to the estate.
• Meng Zhao chose negotiation over war with the Wu and Xun Families, while Wu Zunyuan and Xun Min agreed to shoulder the cost and investigate who had killed their sons.

Meng Zhao awakened the Azure Dragon Armor, entered the Innate Realm, and became the Ziwei Star Lord while concealing his new power. As rival forces plotted against him, he confronted the Masked Man, Tie Xiongfei, and Yang Cai, then recognized Zhao Hun as the hidden enemy.

• Meng Zhao awakened the Azure Dragon Armor with his dragon blood, bonded with it, and transformed it into the Azure Dragon Battle Armor.
• Meng Zhao broke through the three Innate orifices, became the Ziwei Star Lord, and awakened his Purple Origin Dragon Body and Ziwei Treasure Body while sealing away his Star Power.
• Meng Zhao emerged from seclusion looking younger and learned that the Xun and Wu Families would compensate him for Meng Rong’s abduction.
• The Masked Man recruited Tie Xiongfei, drew Yang Cai out of prison, and plotted to use them against Meng Zhao.

At Mingxiu Lake, he confronted Song Zhiwen over the poisoning plot and learned that the severed finger came from the dangerous Grotto-Heaven Secret Realm.

• Meng Zhao defeated Yang Cai, who agreed to join the Meng Family, while Zhao Hun escaped after draining Tie Xiongfei’s true qi.
• Meng Zhao promised to help Yang Cai find his missing grandniece and protect him from the Ding Family, then planned to seek the Xun Family’s help.

Meng Zhao’s group witnessed Dragon City kill Zhuo Mufeng, then confronted the Lei Family’s attempt to eliminate Meng Zhao and his companions. Meng Zhao defeated the Lei Family warriors and a poisonous lake beast, then turned on the surviving attackers after they blamed his family for Sixth Uncle Lei’s death.

• Meng Zhao watched Dragon City defeat Zhuo Mufeng with the Dragon-Slaying Saber and claim the Phoenix Wing Censer, then Han Pu killed a youth who insulted Meng Zhao.
• Meng Zhao refused Wang Xuanjing’s demand that he punish Han Pu, threatened the Wang Family, and declared that the Seven Freaks of Minshan served him rather than the Lei Family.
• Dragon City summoned twelve Lei Family warriors in the Bloodlight Nether Spring Formation, but Meng Zhao broke the array and captured or injured its fighters.
• Meng Zhao summoned a True Dragon Dharma Form and crushed the ten remaining warriors’ Real Forms before a Green Frog Poison Newt attacked him from Mingxiu Lake.
