Brother Yang, you have a call

The breakfast quality at the five-star hotel was undeniable. Li Yang found it very comfortable, and Chen Qian, who clearly hadn't experienced such a breakfast before, ate with a beaming smile the entire time, even taking a couple of photos with her phone.

After breakfast, the two tidied up briefly. As they left, Chen Qian proactively took Li Yang's hand, and they walked out of the hotel amidst the polite farewells of the staff. They got into the car parked in its spot and headed towards the zoo indicated by the navigation.

Linhai City's zoo, being one of the top in the country, was naturally massive. They bought two bottles of water on the way. After parking and showing their annual pass to the staff, they walked in hand-in-hand, giggling.

Upon entering, they were greeted by a vast expanse of trees and green grass. The rubber pavement underfoot was very comfortable. But before they had walked a few steps, Chen Qian's phone suddenly rang.

"Who's calling?"

Li Yang squeezed Chen Qian's soft, tender hand and looked curiously. Chen Qian picked up her phone and saw a string of numbers.

"Never seen it before."

Chen Qian thought for a moment and answered the unknown call on speakerphone.

"Hello, Chen Qian, where are you? The hotel front desk said you left yesterday. Aren't you even coming to the zoo with us? This..."

As soon as the call connected, a torrent of words poured out from the other end. From the voice, it was clear it was Liu Wu. Chen Qian grinned, held the phone a little further away, and only brought it closer after he finished his lengthy speech.

Li Yang chuckled. Seizing the opportunity, he wrapped his arms around Chen Qian's soft waist and kissed her lips.

"Why did you delete your brother's WeChat and block him, and block his phone number too? What's going on?"

After Liu Wu's words, a female voice responded, indicating the phone had been passed to Liu Lili. Her voice was softer. She added, "What about the house in Heyang City? You don't want it?"

Chen Qian rolled her eyes, patted Li Yang's shoulder. After he released her, she let out a slight sigh and curtly ended the call, blocking the number as well.

"So many people are watching, you're so annoying."

After hanging up, Chen Qian, her face flushed, lightly hit Li Yang. Li Yang laughed heartily and kissed her a couple more times. Seeing the surprised looks of those around them, he let her go and, smiling, led her into the lush green park.

The Linjiang City Zoo was truly vast, covering a full 645 mu. It housed giant pandas, South China tigers, gorillas, golden snub-nosed monkeys, flamingos, blue-and-gold macaws, red pandas, spotted-billed penguins, Asian elephants, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, and more.

There was also a marine animal exhibit with sea turtles, various fish, and even sharks.

Li Yang held Chen Qian as they wandered around, spending time at each exhibit that interested them. Chen Qian was exceptionally compliant with Li Yang throughout the day, showing great perceptiveness and intentionally or unintentionally displaying her attractive figure to him.

They stayed from 8:30 AM until 12:30 PM, and only when their stomachs began to rumble did they reluctantly leave to have lunch.

Lunch couldn't be a casual affair. They navigated to a nearby large shopping mall. With the groundwork laid the previous night and this morning, Li Yang no longer held back. He directly found a couple's restaurant and took Chen Qian to a quiet private room.

"Phew, I'm so tired. Finally, I can cool down and rest."

Sitting in the cool private room, Chen Qian wiped the sweat from her forehead and couldn't help but exhale towards Li Yang.

Visiting the zoo in this weather was indeed tiring, and she had worked up a sweat. Fortunately, the zoo was excellent, and they had a great time, which made up for the discomfort.

"I should have worn shorts today instead of long pants. It would have been so much more convenient."

Chen Qian looked at her tight-fitting jeans, the color noticeably darker around her backside than the lower parts. Her jeans had been soaked with sweat all along. A bitter expression appeared on her face.

Li Yang raised an eyebrow. In this sweltering heat, he didn't want to walk around much more. His rented clothes needed to be returned anyway, and now that he had money, he genuinely wanted to buy some high-end clothing. The mall was cool, so it was a good opportunity to take care of it.

And, of course, he could pick out a couple of things for Chen Qian according to his own taste...

Thinking this, Li Yang glanced at Chen Qian's long pants, which prevented him from touching her legs, and chuckled slyly.

"Ah, are we going to change right after buying them?"

Chen Qian was taken aback for a moment. But then she thought about it. The mall had air conditioning, and spending the hottest part of the day shopping seemed like a good idea. She immediately agreed enthusiastically and happily started eating.

During the meal, she frequently served Li Yang, poured his drinks, handed him chopsticks, and offered napkins, acting like a devoted personal attendant.

Li Yang was very satisfied. The only thing he was unhappy about was Chen Qian's pants, which prevented him from touching her legs. So, after the meal, he took her directly to browse various designer clothing stores.

In the past, Li Yang would pick out clothes himself on shopping apps, considering price, appearance, and quality.

It was different now. Li Yang didn't need to consider anything; he just needed to experience how comfortable the clothes felt.

And women, they were experts at shopping. With great enthusiasm, she picked out five outfits and three pairs of shoes for Li Yang. Once Li Yang was satisfied, he started picking out clothes for her. Back and forth like this, it was unconsciously 4:30 PM.

Chen Qian's pants were sweat-soaked. At Li Yang's suggestion, she changed into a newly bought pair of tight-fitting shorts in the fitting room, exposing her fair legs. Coupled with the new lace underwear Li Yang thoughtfully bought for her, Chen Qian felt refreshed all over as she walked out of the clothing store towards the parking lot.

"Brother Yang, how about we go watch a movie? I've been wanting to see this one, and I'm a bit lazy to go back to the zoo now."

After putting the shopping bags in the back seat of the car, Chen Qian tapped the heel of her white shoes and showed Li Yang the movie information on her phone.

"Cage of Eight Corners. That movie has had a lot of promotion. Alright, let's go watch it together."

Li Yang glanced at Chen Qian's exposed white legs, then at the movie, which he was interested in. The showtime was only twenty minutes away. He readily agreed. Chen Qian smiled sweetly and gave him a kiss. She bought two tickets and a popcorn, ice cola combo on her phone and, holding Li Yang's arm, skipped happily towards the cinema.

Re-entering the mall, the cool air conditioning brought a refreshing chill. Li Yang held her tender hand as they waited at the cinema entrance for a while. Soon, it was time to enter. Like a couple, they walked into the screening hall and found their seats.

The armrest between their seats was not put down. Li Yang's hand casually moved to Chen Qian's leg. Chen Qian shifted closer to Li Yang, extending her legs and resting them on his lap.
