"Hello, hubby, are you back yet?"

"Yeah, I'm on my way now."

"Okay, I'll be waiting for you at home then, dinner's ready."

After a brief chat, the call ended. The black Audi A6's large headlights illuminated the night as it drove steadily down the road.

Li Yang had made up his mind. After hanging up with Chen Qian, he stopped overthinking and focused on driving back to the villa. He had been busy since early this morning, and now he needed to clear his head and get some good rest.

The car pulled into the parking spot at the villa. Li Yang got out, pressed the car lock, and looked towards the villa entrance. "I just warmed it up in the kitchen, I'll go get it for you."

Chen Qian sat down next to Li Yang and used a spoon to scoop something into Li Yang's soup bowl. Chen Qian smiled and ate a few simple bites next to him before stopping. She put away her own bowl and chopsticks and sat beside Li Yang, helping him with dishes and soup.

When Li Yang finished eating and went to get a drink of water, she got up again and took all the bowls, chopsticks, and dish basins to the kitchen.

"Phew~"

Li Yang finished eating and drank a large glass of water, feeling comfortable all over. He pulled out a tissue to wipe his mouth. He walked two steps towards the kitchen, just as Chen Qian came out. He blocked her with one hand in front, reached behind with the other, and kissed Chen Qian's mouth with his open mouth.

"Baby, I'm going back to my hometown tomorrow. Do you want to come with me?"

Li Yang slowly rubbed Chen Qian's thigh, a smile on his face.
