Storming into the Evil Sword Realm

The traps around the outskirts of the Evil Sword Realm were everywhere, forming an insurmountable chasm for any force seeking to attack this realm. In the past, cultivators of the Myriad Worlds had not failed to consider using Artifact Puppets, Talismans, beast taming, and other methods to clear these traps, but the results had never been satisfactory.

That was because the traps around the Evil Sword Realm had all been laid by the Evil Sword Demons using the Immortal Trapping Sword True Body, then supplemented by individual Evil Demons with all manner of insidious measures. None of the traps were low-level. Ordinary bows, crossbows, and arrows were useless against them, while even Tier-1 and Tier-2 Talismans and Puppets found it difficult to forcibly destroy them. Only attacks at Tier 3 or Tier 4 could inflict a degree of damage upon these traps.

In the old cultivation world, those capable of producing Tier 3 or Tier 4 destructive force were either Golden Core Cultivators or existences above Tier 3 Body Cultivators. If such people acted, it meant filling the gaps with human lives. The Myriad Worlds did not possess so many mid- and high-level cultivators to waste in meaningless attrition against these traps. Otherwise, there were Tier 3 and Tier 4 Talismans, Magic Artifacts, Puppets, and tamed beasts. Though these were cheaper than human lives, they were still expensive. The production capacity of the Myriad Worlds' Hundred Arts Technicians had once been limited. Even if a Tier 7 Talisman Master personally made Tier 3 Talismans, while their efficiency was decent and they could produce a hundred or so in a day, the resources for making Talismans were not inexhaustible. Using limited resources to trade pieces with the Evil Sword Realm's nearly costless traps was clearly not a worthwhile bargain.
