Su Qing and his Puppets faced Liu Yun'er, a powerful Foundation Establishment Peak Demoness, in the Forward Camp. After the Cloud Mountain Sect cultivators failed to stop her escape, Su Qing worried that she would come after him again.

• Su Qing used his Puppets to resist Liu Yun'er's spiritual pressure and protect himself and Fire Egg, but she destroyed many of them with her charm arts and attacks.
• A Lizard Warrior carried Su Qing and Fire Egg out of Liu Yun'er's spiritual-pressure range just as three Cloud Mountain Sect Foundation Establishment War Cultivators arrived.
• Su Qing warned the three cultivators about Liu Yun'er, then fled to the Hundred Treasures Small Shop and lamented the loss of his costly Puppets.
