|---|---|---|
| Lv1 | 63 | Obtained after Kong Wu killed Prince Jin Cui Yuan. It condensed Bloodline Power for 1.5× Strength damage and granted a permanent 10% Strength bonus. |
| Lv2 | 63 | Automatically replaced Kong Wu's Three Tribulation Finger and gained a level in the process. Damage rose to 2× Strength and the passive bonus to 20%; the original post-cast cost was a full day and night of recovery. |
| Lv3 | 98 | Purchased for 100 Free Attribute Points. The passive Strength bonus rose to 30%; after use, the passive effect disappears for one day and Strength is reduced by 80%, replacing total immobility. |
| Lv4 | 388 | Purchased for 200 Free Attribute Points. Damage rose to 2.5× Strength, the passive bonus to 40%, and each use began consuming 2 Spirit points. |
| Lv5 | 421 | Upgraded alongside Moon Slash. It could unleash 3× Strength damage and required 4 Spirit points per cast. |
| Lv6 | 544 | Its upgraded form produced 3.5× Strength damage and cost 8 Spirit points per cast. |
| Lv7 | 591 | Passed during Kong Wu's two-level upgrade of the technique. |
| Lv8 | 591 | Reached 4× Strength damage; Spirit consumption remained capped at 20 points rather than continuing to double. |
| Lv10 (Extreme) | 666 | Reached maximum level after Kong Wu prioritized Divine Ability upgrades over a direct Strength increase. |
Origin and Transmission
True Lord Yuling created the Human Emperor Finger after taking Human Emperor Xuanyuan as his disciple. The original technique relied on Imperial Qi, which originated from the Central Continent's dragon veins and the faith of all beings. In Xuanyuan's hands, it could “break the heavens, break the earth, and break all things in the world.” 592
The technique later passed down through the Twelve Human Immortals and reached the Beichen Continent as the Cui Family's Heaven Shaking Finger. The Cui version was a simplified Divine Ability: difficult to cultivate before Spirit Transformation, but capable of naturally becoming a Divine Ability once its user reached that stage. 209 593
Kong Wu acquired Heaven Shaking Finger by killing Prince Jin Cui Yuan. The System immediately replaced his Three Tribulation Finger with it and transformed the technique into a Bloodline Power-based attack suited to Kong Wu's path. 63
By the time Kong Wu confronted the End of Days Bat, True Lord Yuling concluded that the System-enhanced Heaven Shaking Finger had surpassed the Human Emperor Finger he originally created. 592 593
Manifestation
Heaven Shaking Finger usually appears as an immense blood-red finger shadow. It advances steadily rather than explosively, crushing matter and destabilizing space in its path. 80 125
- Its early manifestations annihilated dust, leaves, and other matter on contact. 80
- The shadow can become detailed enough for its knuckle patterns to be visible. 125
- It generates spatial cracks or outright spatial collapse when confronting powerful targets. 125 260 464
- Its pressure can immobilize targets and draw surrounding matter, enemies, and even sections of space toward the attack. 247 265 390
- Kong Wu can control the technique's pull well enough to spare allies caught within its range. 553
- In the final confrontation with Hongjun, Kong Wu's version became aura-less and instantaneous, but no longer displayed its earlier absorption effect. 669
Abilities & Skills
Great Dao of Strength
Heaven Shaking Finger is a Divine Ability founded on the pure Great Dao of Strength rather than True Essence. Its force is recognized by opponents as fundamentally different from the Cui Family's imperial-style technique. 199 215 247
- Kong Wu's version condenses Bloodline Power and the lines of force in heaven and earth at his fingertip. 63 215 276
- Its raw damage scales directly with Kong Wu's Strength attribute. 63 388 465
- It carries enough force to threaten cultivators far above Kong Wu's apparent realm, including Mahayana-stage opponents. 413 414
- The Great Dao of Strength remains effective across worlds; Kong Wu used it to devastate part of a ruined foreign world while defeating the End of Days Bat. 592
Suppression and Attraction
The finger shadow exerts a powerful gravitational and spatial-binding effect before impact. 247 265
- Targets can be rendered unable to move, teleport, or escape through the void. 247 265 390
- The attraction intensifies as the finger shadow approaches. 623
- Weaker targets can be torn apart and dragged into the attack before the finger itself reaches them. 553 623
- Powerful enemies or sufficiently distant beings can resist its pull. 553
Repeated Casting
After unlocking the Spirit attribute, Kong Wu was no longer forced into a day-long weakened state after each use; activation instead consumed Spirit points that recovered over time. 200
- Kong Wu can cast the technique twice consecutively. 465
- He has produced four simultaneous finger shadows against the Void Devouring Tooth Worm. 479
- At one point, his available Spirit allowed him to cast at most four Heaven Shaking Fingers at peak condition. 544
- Higher levels require substantially more Spirit, making resource management central to repeated use. 388 465 544
Limitations and Counters
- Heaven Shaking Finger initially left Kong Wu immobile for a day and night after a single cast. 65
- At Lv3, it no longer caused total immobility, but removed its passive Strength bonus and reduced Kong Wu's Strength by 80% for one day. 98
- Once Spirit became its activation cost, its use depended on Kong Wu's available Spirit points. 200 388
- Its immense momentum gives some opponents time to employ defensive artifacts or escape methods, despite the technique's suction effect. 333
- Blood Willow survived by exhausting two Divine Abilities to crack and detonate the finger shadow, then using the resulting distance to recover her mobility. 260
- The Void Devouring Tooth Worm withstood and shattered four finger shadows head-on. 479
- Great Emperor Ziwei weakened and eventually extinguished a finger shadow through repeated uses of Purple Flame World Annihilation. 623
- Old Ancestor Minghe's Yuantu Sword can sever Dao principles and nullify Divine Abilities, directly shattering Heaven Shaking Finger. 636 637
Known Users and Variants
- Kong Wu — Primary user. His blood-red version follows the Great Dao of Strength, has been repeatedly upgraded by the System, and ultimately reached Lv10 (Extreme). 63 199 666
- Human Emperor Xuanyuan — Historical user of the original Human Emperor Finger; he is said to have shattered heaven and defeated celestial armies with one finger. 63 419 592
- Cui Family — Custodians of a golden, imperial-aura variant. Their inherited technique is a simplified Divine Ability and is markedly inferior to Kong Wu's perfected version when poorly mastered. 209 215
- Cui Jiang — Could barely activate the Cui Family technique, but Kong Wu judged his golden finger imprint to be structurally scattered and lacking the true technique's contained power. 209
- Cui Qing / Di You Xing — Used a golden Heaven Shaking Finger surrounded by golden dragons; Cui Qing recognized Kong Wu's version as the more orthodox form. 215
- Little Red — Through Spiritual Resonance, she can use Kong Wu's Heaven Shaking Finger while inheriting 80% of his Strength. Her version can incorporate scarlet flames and has surpassed Kong Wu's earlier form in visible force. 294 389 602
- Kong Yue — Possessed Heaven Shaking Finger Lv10 (Extreme) during the final battle. His version retained tremendous pressure and momentum, unlike Kong Wu's later contained, instantaneous strike. 669
Story Role / Major Arcs
- Kong Wu first used the technique against Mother Wusheng's divine sense, annihilating her willow-tree phantom and ultimately destroying the divine sense despite the severe recoil. 80
- He used the improved Lv3 version to destroy a stronger divine soul of Mother Wusheng; the attack broke her willow-tree attack and Blood Fiend Soul Seal, producing spatial rifts. 125 126
- The technique was identified as a Divine Ability representing the Great Dao of Strength when Kong Wu used it to defeat Gui Shijun. 199 200
- Kong Wu disproved Cui Jiang's claim to the technique by destroying the Cui Family's golden finger imprint with Moon Slash. 209
- His clash with Kong Yue's Five Absolute Fists caused the sky above the Imperial Capital to crack. 276
- A blood-red finger shadow crushed Zhao Wenhua's Heavenly Dipper Axe and threatened Nanning City, requiring intervention from Emperor Zhao Wuji and Nanning's City God. 300
- Kong Wu used three Heaven Shaking Fingers to break the Fearful World Demon Lord's confinement and delay his pursuit. 544
- At Lv8, he destroyed the End of Days Bat's attack and a substantial portion of its ruined world. 592
- The technique killed Great Emperor Longevity and forced Great Emperor Ziwei to burn enormous amounts of incense power in defense. 623
- It failed against Old Ancestor Minghe after the Yuantu Sword nullified the Divine Ability itself. 636 637
- In the final battle, Kong Wu and Kong Yue each launched a Heaven Shaking Finger at Hongjun; both world-destroying attacks were blocked by Hongjun's thin purple barrier. 669
Trivia
- Heaven Shaking Finger replaced Three Tribulation Finger, whose three forms were Heaven's Gate, Birthless, and Yuan Destruction. 35 63
- The System altered Three Tribulation Finger to use stamina because Kong Wu possessed no True Qi; Heaven Shaking Finger later became compatible with his Bloodline Power and Spirit attribute instead. 35 63 200
- Although the Cui Family treats Heaven Shaking Finger as its inherited secret technique, Kong Wu's version lacks True Essence fluctuations and is recognized as closer to the genuine orthodox form. 215
