Ch. 1Prologue: Gestation

After dying, Zhou Xu realized he had been reincarnated and was still gestating in a womb, where a martial arts system appeared in his consciousness. He focused on exercising his mind and strengthening his memories, but the amniotic fluid suddenly grew murky and the womb began contracting.

  • Zhou Xu woke in a cramped, liquid-filled space and realized he could hear muffled voices and a steady heartbeat.
  • Zhou Xu concluded that he had been reincarnated and discovered a system showing his attributes, level, and the restriction that martial arts missions could not begin during gestation.
  • Zhou Xu considered ways to develop himself but decided that thinking and recalling his past-life memories were the only activities available to him.
  • Zhou Xu repeatedly reviewed his memories and practiced self-hypnosis, gradually staying awake longer and noticing his thinking and senses grow sharper.
  • The amniotic fluid turned murky as the soft barriers around Zhou Xu writhed and began pressing inward.

Ch. 2The Wrong World

Reborn as Arro Garner, Zhou Xu discovered that his new family lived in a castle in a strange world, while his system assigned him a martial arts mission. He began planning to develop martial arts and secretly pursue technology, then saw his father turn invisible and the head maid summon wings of air, leaving him wondering whether the world was high martial.

  • Zhou Xu was born to Nicole and David, and David named him Arro Garner after joking about his wrinkled newborn appearance.
  • Arro spent his first six months sleeping and eating, then noticed his castle home, the foreign-looking people around him, and his system’s mission to become a martial arts rising star.
  • Arro persuaded David to carry him to the window each day, where he watched the town and planned to develop martial arts openly while secretly researching technology.
  • Arro noticed townspeople watching him with reverence, and David complained about their attention to Nicole.
  • David turned invisible while holding Arro, leaving him apparently floating by the window, and Fana formed wings of air to rush to his aid.
  • David reappeared holding Arro, who wondered whether his new world was a high-martial one after seeing invisibility and air wings.

Ch. 3Something Wrong with This Family

Fana reprimanded David for risking Little Arro’s health, and David was punished by Lord Pachez Gana after Little Arro spoke up to stop her. Nicole returned and took over teaching their son, who quickly learned the language but found his mother’s constant praise and attention exhausting.

  • Fana warned David that using wizardry while holding Little Arro could harm the baby and told him that Lord Pachez Gana would hear about it.
  • Little Arro called Fana’s name to intervene, and David left the Castle to face his father; he returned the next day battered and with scorched, ruined hair.
  • Scholars began teaching Little Arro, while David repeatedly fell asleep during their lessons.
  • Nicole returned from recuperating, reunited with David, and dismissed the teacher after learning that Little Arro was being taught.
  • Nicole repeatedly prompted Little Arro to call her Mama, and he blurted out the words, beginning an intensive language-teaching routine.
  • Little Arro learned the language within three months, but grew exasperated as Nicole enthusiastically praised every ordinary thing he did.

Ch. 4Something Wrong with the System

Little Arro investigated why his Martial Arts System remained stuck and sought out the Castle’s armored men for a way to train. Kabir gave him a copy of the Knight's Breathing Technique, leaving Arro with a possible path to activate the system.

  • Little Arro left his parents and checked his system, which was still investigating his Novice Mission.
  • Remembering the Supernatural Event and his parents’ silence, Little Arro went to the training ground to ask the armored men about their techniques.
  • Little Arro questioned Kabir about knight training and learned that knights used the Knight's Breathing Technique to train their muscles and awaken the Life Seed.
  • Kabir gave Little Arro his old book on the Knight's Breathing Technique and said Arro could ask him questions whenever he needed.
  • Kabir planned to report the encounter to Lord Pachez Gana, while Little Arro happily took the book.

Ch. 5An Unusual Teacher

Kabir reported Little Arro’s encounter and book to Lord Pahez, who approved teaching him the Guard Breathing Technique. After Little Arro’s parents declined to teach him that evening, Nicole summoned a talking Black Cat to teach him how to read.

  • Kabir told Lord Pahez that Little Arro had left the Small Castle and received a book, and Lord Pahez insisted Kabir tell Arro that the book had originally been his.
  • Lord Pahez approved Kabir teaching Little Arro the Knight's Breathing Technique, saying it would strengthen the child’s body.
  • Little Arro tried to learn the Guard Breathing Technique through his system but lacked Skill Points, then returned to the castle and found his parents dining on food he could not chew.
  • Little Arro asked Nicole to teach him to read the book, but she said she was tired and offered to find him a reading teacher instead.
  • Nicole summoned a huge talking Black Cat and introduced her to Little Arro as his new teacher.

Ch. 6Black Cat Gemma

Little Arro asked Black Cat Gemma to teach him training after learning the Guard Breathing Technique, and she agreed to take him outside with Knight Cabir accompanying them. The chapter ended as Gemma led the two toward her special Training Method.

  • Little Arro wondered whether his family were demons as Gemma criticized his disrespectful treatment of books.
  • Little Arro told Gemma that he had learned the Guard Breathing Technique and asked her to teach him training; Gemma agreed after learning his mother had approved.
  • Gemma led Little Arro out of the Castle, where he encountered Knight Cabir at the Training Ground.
  • Cabir angrily condemned the unknown teacher he thought was exploiting Little Arro, then recognized Gemma as Lady Nicole's Magic Pet and accepted her authority.
  • Gemma invited Cabir to come along so Little Arro would not be afraid, and Cabir agreed to accompany them.

Ch. 7Abnormal Secret Technique

Little Arro learned Gemma’s tree-climbing technique and discovered that the Knight’s Breathing Technique helped him recover during training. After advancing the breathing technique to Intermediate, he resumed practicing tree climbing.

  • Gemma demonstrated tree climbing and taught Little Arro how to climb the poplar tree.
  • Little Arro comprehended Cat Form Fist—Tree Climbing, and he persuaded Kabir to accept Gemma’s lesson.
  • Little Arro repeatedly tried climbing the tree, pushing through his fear and fatigue until Gemma urged him to rest.
  • Kabir guided Little Arro through the Knight’s Breathing Technique, which eased his fatigue and advanced to Intermediate.
  • Little Arro saw that activating the technique temporarily increased his Endurance by one point, then declared he was recovered and continued practicing tree climbing.

Ch. 8Growth

Over five months, Little Arro advanced his training and learned to use bonus stamina to reduce exhaustion and improve recovery. He finally climbed a six-meter tree in one rush, while Parchez Garner decided he was still too young for formal knight training.

  • Black Cat Gemma gave Little Arro afternoon lessons in writing while he trained in the mornings and explored the Training Ground at night.
  • Little Arro mastered the Knight's Breathing Technique and learned that bonus stamina reduced his stamina loss during training and boosted recovery afterward.
  • Little Arro strengthened himself through months of Tree Climbing practice, then charged up a six-meter tree and reached its top.
  • Cat Form Fist - Climbing Tree advanced to Advanced, reaching the body's limit, while Little Arro lamented that his martial arts mission remained stuck on the Novice Mission.
  • Kabir reported Little Arro's achievement to Parchez Garner and asked about starting knight training, but Parchez Garner refused because Little Arro was still too young.

Ch. 9Gentle and Easygoing Little Cat

Little Arro pressured Gemma into teaching him another Cat Form Fist technique, and she made him learn dodging by chasing and tearing his clothes. He gained Cat Form Fist—Dash but remained in danger as Gemma herded him toward the town street.

  • Little Arro begged Gemma to teach him another skill, and she finally agreed to teach him dodging.
  • Gemma chased Little Arro around town, threatening to shred his clothes while taunting him with stories about animals she had chased.
  • Little Arro tried to evade Gemma and received Careful Guidance, learning Cat Form Fist—Dash at Beginner level.
  • Little Arro realized Gemma was steering him away from the streets and hurriedly apologized as they neared them.
  • Gemma slowed when Little Arro promised not to disturb her naps again, but he kept running toward the street.

Ch. 10Refugees

Little Arro found the town overwhelmed by refugees and persuaded the Castle’s Guards to help restore order. He organized temporary food relief, work, housing, and care for orphans, beginning his first effort to win the townspeople’s trust.

  • Little Arro saw the chaotic town and learned from Kabir that the Castle’s Guards had been forbidden to leave.
  • Little Arro convinced Kabir to gather the Guards and argued that the refugees needed to be dealt with rather than ignored.
  • The Guards argued over whether to help, and Kabir knocked several men down before Little Arro quieted them.
  • Little Arro consulted the Head Chef about the food supply and set temporary daily rations for the refugees.
  • Little Arro ordered the Guards to clear the overcrowded town and planned work relief, new housing, and care for refugee orphans.

Ch. 11Fatherly Love Like an Avalanche

Little Arro managed the town’s response to the Disaster Victims and planned where they might live, while David and Nicole discussed the danger behind the refugees’ arrival and decided to take him to the old Castle. As Little Arro climbed a tree to survey the area, David prepared to test him with a captured wolf cub.

  • Little Arro replayed his work from the previous day, then fell asleep after reminding himself to be more composed.
  • David and Nicole revealed that the Disaster Victims had fled the spreading Mist Realm and that werewolf cubs had used them as rations; David said he had left one wolf alive to reveal the truth to Little Arro.
  • David said he planned to take Little Arro to the old Castle because his knowledge and physical strength were sufficient for wizard studies, and Nicole agreed before Gemma resumed control of the black cat.
  • Little Arro asked Gemma to accompany him to a tall tree so he could survey nearby open spaces for temporary housing, and the townspeople praised his decision to drive out the Disaster Victims.
  • David arrived with a captured wolf cub and told Gemma he had prepared it as a practical combat test for Little Arro; Gemma demanded an explanation and stayed nearby.

Ch. 12Encountered Enemy

Little Arro tried to return to the Castle while David and the Black Cat secretly staged a frightening encounter to teach him caution. Their plan ended with a young man transforming into a werewolf, while Little Arro escaped up a tree.

  • Little Arro searched for Teacher Gemma, then decided to return to the Castle after finding her note saying she had gone back to sleep.
  • David and the Black Cat plotted to frighten Little Arro, repeatedly trying to place an unconscious young man in his path.
  • Little Arro spotted the strange figure appearing nearby and ran toward the Castle, terrified but determined not to show it.
  • David used dust to make the young man transform into a werewolf and crave human flesh.
  • Little Arro climbed a tree to escape the Werewolf Youth and realized the creature was not a ghost.

Ch. 13A Well-Matched Opponent (Part 1)

Little Arro tried to escape a drugged Werewolf Youth as David and Gemma manipulated the fight from hiding. After David boosted the Werewolf’s speed, Gemma weakened him with a spell, but he still lunged at Little Arro as he fell.

  • The Werewolf Youth failed to damage the tree, so David gave him more Werewolf Flower and sent him into a stronger frenzy.
  • As the tree began to break and no one from the Castle responded, Little Arro jumped toward a nearby tree to escape.
  • David cast Cat's Agility on the Werewolf, who caught up with Little Arro and struck him, sending him flying.
  • Gemma cast Weakness Spell on the Werewolf, but his momentum carried him toward Little Arro as he fell.

Ch. 14A Well-Matched Opponent (Part 2)

Little Arro fought the Werewolf Youth while David and Gemma watched, with David using a Weakness Spell to keep the boy from being overwhelmed. Gemma nearly intervened, but David argued that Little Arro had to learn to face danger because he was destined to become a Wizard.

  • The Werewolf Youth attacked Little Arro, who fought back until he noticed the wolf recovering from the Weakness Spell.
  • Little Arro seized the chance to kick the Werewolf Youth repeatedly in a vulnerable spot, and David scattered the last Werewolf Flower to restore the wolf's strength.
  • The Werewolf Youth regained enough strength to beat and drag Little Arro around, but Little Arro kept attacking whenever his opponent weakened.
  • Gemma watched Little Arro's savage fighting and decided to stop the ordeal, but David challenged her and urged her to hear him out.
  • David explained that the Wizarding World was full of threats and that Little Arro, as a Wizard family's gifted child, had to learn to endure battle, pain, and fear.

Ch. 15Werewolves Fear Nothing

David and Nicole resolved their disagreement over how to raise Little Arro, and David realized he had let the Mist Realm’s negative energy distort his judgment. They appeared beside Little Arro as the Werewolf Youth struggled to rise, and David forced him to kneel.

  • The Black Cat summoned Nicole, who told David that harshness toward enemies should not be directed at family and explained that Little Arro needed both his father’s guidance and his mother’s warmth.
  • David admitted he had planned to let Little Arro face a dangerous opponent while secretly protecting him, and Nicole urged him not to let shame or negative emotions cloud his reason.
  • Nicole told David she was close to advancing to Formal Wizard and urged him to focus on himself, then playfully called him her Brave Knight.
  • Little Arro kept striking the Werewolf Youth, who stopped reacting to pain as his wounds began healing, while Little Arro feared that stopping would leave him vulnerable.
  • David and Nicole appeared, and the Werewolf Youth called David “Udyr” before declaring that werewolves feared nothing.
  • David ordered the Werewolf Youth to kneel, and an invisible force slammed him to the ground as he realized he had attacked an Advanced Wizard Apprentice’s descendant.

Ch. 16A Rousing Battle

Little Arro faced the Werewolf Youth again after David strengthened him with spells, and Nicole’s Confusion spell turned the fleeing opponent back toward him. Little Arro defeated the Werewolf Youth, gained experience, and reached Personal Level 1.

  • Little Arro took comfort in his mother’s embrace and bragged about defeating the Werewolf Youth, while David told him to finish the fight himself.
  • David cast several spells that boosted Little Arro’s attributes and restored his strength.
  • The Werewolf Youth tried to flee, but Nicole cast Confusion and sent him charging toward Little Arro.
  • Little Arro defeated the Werewolf Youth and received skill experience, a skill-point reward, and a level increase to Personal Level 1.

Ch. 17Learned

After killing the Werewolf, Little Arro learned how his system could convert skill experience into personal experience and heard David explain the dangers of Eerie Worlds. David planned to answer Arro’s questions after lunch and take him to his grandfather’s house the next morning.

  • Little Arro checked his skill gains after killing the Werewolf and realized max-level skill experience could become personal experience.
  • Nicole warned Little Arro not to become obsessed with killing, then left as David carried him away after his power faded.
  • David revealed that he had been nearby throughout the fight and had chosen the Werewolf from among the Refugees to test Little Arro.
  • David warned Little Arro to avoid abnormalities and Eerie Worlds until he became stronger, and promised him a guidebook on common ones.
  • David said they would leave for Little Arro’s grandfather’s house the next morning, surprising Arro by revealing he had a grandfather.

Ch. 18The Clown Is Myself

David taught Little Arro about wizards and asked whether he still wanted to pursue their knowledge; Little Arro chose to continue learning despite uncertainty about his Martial Arts System. As they traveled through the forest to meet his grandfather, Little Arro asked David whether the man was easy to get along with.

  • David ordered the Werewolf corpses displayed on the town walls and threatened to expel refugees unless they reported collaborators, while advising Little Arro on managing their expectations.
  • Little Arro learned that David was an Udyr and that wizards could use Mental Perception, which helped explain the unusual people and abilities around him.
  • Little Arro weighed the uncertain prospects of martial arts against wizard training, then told David he still wanted to study wizard knowledge.
  • Little Arro looked in the mirror and concluded that he himself was the clown for misunderstanding the world.
  • Little Arro traveled with David through a forest cleared of beasts and asked whether his approaching grandfather was easy to get along with.

Ch. 19The Dignity of the Wizard Family

Little Arro traveled with David through the eerie valley to his grandfather’s Castle, learning how the Garner Family defended its territory and discovering the extravagant decorations along the way. He arrived at the Castle with David, eager to see what lay inside.

  • Little Arro saw the Garner Family Vassals training and learned from David that the knights guarded the territory and were funded by the Jungle Home Wizard Alliance.
  • The carriage crossed into a dark swamp, where Kabir explained that the strange trees were planted decorations and David revealed that Little Arro’s grandfather had spent more than half his savings creating the atmosphere.
  • Black Cat warned Little Arro about something strange, and he saw a talking boulder whose Echo Stone played a prerecorded voice as the carriage passed.
  • Little Arro and David reached the enormous Castle, left the carriage, and entered on foot.

Ch. 20Assessment

Little Arro reunited with his grandfather Pahz, who tested his reading and recognized his talent for understanding the Fien Language. Pahz explained why Arro could not begin wizard cultivation yet and promised to teach him Mental Strength training when he turned six, while formal studies would begin at ten.

  • Pahz warmly welcomed Little Arro and had David go train with ten Achilles Knights before leaving.
  • Pahz tested Little Arro by asking him to read and interpret a word, and praised his insight into the Fien Language.
  • Pahz asked Gemma to teach Little Arro wizard-specific words, while Gemma warned that knowledge could attract danger from monsters.
  • Pahz explained that Arro was too young to learn a Meditation Technique and that examining his energy affinity required a Formal Wizard and protective measures.
  • Pahz said a Formal Wizard from Jungle Home would arrange Arro's formal studies at ten and promised to teach him Mental Strength training at six.
