"Creak."
Wu Feng slowly pushed open the main door.
By the fairly bright moonlight, Wu Feng could make out the inside of the hall.
The hall looked rather simple. There was a table, with three chairs in front of it.
The chairs looked dilapidated, while the table seemed somewhat new.
However, the new table seemed to have just been used to slaughter pigs or dogs. It reeked strongly, and when Wu Feng leaned closer, he could still see some bloodstains on it.
Wu Feng knew that even in farmhouses nowadays, some people still placed pigs on the dining table to slaughter and butcher them. A bit of that stench was perfectly normal.
But the remaining bloodstains were not.
The table was fairly new, and bloodstains made it look unsightly. If there were anyone living here, they would definitely have used hot water to clean them off.
Yet some bloodstains remained on the table.
The blood looked quite fresh, no more than three days old at most.
Wu Feng looked at everything before him and could not help shaking his head inwardly.

Wu Feng stopped paying attention to the strange table. He casually picked up one of the chairs, pulled a plank of wood from the dilapidated chair, and held it in his hand.
