October ended just like that. As usual, I'll report the results first.
The current average subscriptions for Borrowed Sword have risen to 65,000, and they've been steadily increasing every month.
Next, I want to talk about this month's gains and losses.
First, I want to apologize to everyone. I didn't write Lu Pan's storyline well—or rather, I wrote it terribly.
Those of you who have followed the story this far, and perhaps read some of my previous books, should know that this wasn't a problem of ability, but of state of mind.
Overall, my writing condition this month was genuinely awful. Then, while I was staying up late to update after returning from a business trip, I finally dug myself a huge pit and buried myself in it.
I went on three business trips in October. One was for company business. Well, strictly speaking, I can't be considered a completely full-time writer. It's just that most of the time, I don't need to worry about matters at the company and factory.
During my first business trip at the beginning of October, I squeezed out time to write amid the hectic schedule. As a result, I failed to explain the setup for [Astray] clearly from the beginning, making the later writing seem like patchwork and disrupting the order in which the content and setting were explained.
Then, my business trip in mid-October was for a Yuewen event. That caused the update volume to drop, and my follow-up subscriptions began to decline as well.
Finally, there was my business trip at the end of October, when I went to Langjiu Manor to receive an award.
My exhaustion kept piling up throughout the month, and readers following the updates should know that I also fell ill. Some even left comments in this chapter
