Without even realizing it, it's time for another one of my books to go premium.
It's strange. Even after writing for so many years, I still get excited and nervous every time a book goes premium.
This book is doing really well so far. Really well.
Its follow counts are the highest among all the new books on Qidian over the past few months, and it's had the best pre-premium performance of any of my books.
The overall environment seems to have shifted, and traffic for new books has been dropping lately. A lot of author friends have told me their new books haven't been doing as well as they hoped. Compared to three months ago, it feels like traffic has been cut in half.
Even under these conditions, this book has a shot at the highest first-day premium order count for a new Qidian book this year! Let's secure second place and fight for first!
We're only a few thousand follows away from 200,000, and we've already broken into the top twenty on the monthly votes chart during the new-book period. We've also held first place on the new-book chart for half a month. We're absolutely crushing it.
I should've started this new book earlier, damn it. Maybe then I wouldn't have come in second in the Platinum Author selection two years in a row.

Longtime readers probably know I'm really slow at writing, so the "short, small, and young" label has stuck with me. I hope
