At a sheltered spot behind an ice slope dozens of miles from where the Divine War had erupted, an adventuring party of five Human Race members was struggling onward.
They wore thick fur coats and armor, carrying packs and weapons on their backs. Their faces bore the weathered traces of long years spent adventuring in the wilds.

The roar of thunder mingled with the wail of the ice plains. Even from more than ten miles away, that near world-destroying pressure still slammed into every heart like a tangible sledgehammer.
Every clash of fist and claw, every flash of lightning, was accompanied by violent tremors in the earth and the thunderous collapse of distant icebergs.
Stray Thunder Snakes and frozen fragments of Divine Power occasionally splashed near them like meteors, blasting deep craters into the frozen ground and instantly freezing entire areas.
"It's Deities! Deities are fighting! This is a Divine War!"
The old mage in the party had gone deathly pale, even his staff trembling in his hand. He could sense the elemental currents in the air raging to the extreme, as well as fluctuations of laws
