Xu Yunfan survived the mines by mastering martial arts, uncovering the Source Ancient Jade Wall, and escaping Ningguta with Li Haomiao and Fang Mushan. After they defeated Yang Gan’s pursuing soldiers, the group continued through the wilderness as Li Haomiao taught Xu Yunfan more techniques.

• Xu Yunfan killed Jiang Yu, took control of the miners’ food supplies, and trained in Crimson Flame Copper Body Art under Li Haomiao’s instruction.
• Xu Yunfan uncovered the Source Ancient Jade Wall, broke it open, and received the Lin Character Secret when the preserved woman inside crumbled at his touch.
• During the attack on Ningguta, Xu Yunfan followed Fang Mushan out of the mine with Li Haomiao tied to his back, killing overseers as they fled.
• Xu Yunfan traveled across the ice field with Fang Mushan, improving his hunting and mining skills while Yang Gan led soldiers in pursuit of Li Haomiao.
• Xu Yunfan advanced Crimson Flame Copper Body Art to Great Accomplishment, then killed Master Xu and Yang Gan when the pursuers found their cave.
• After Fang Mushan helped defeat the remaining soldiers, the group traveled onward, and Li Haomiao taught Xu Yunfan the full Crimson Flame Copper Body Art and Cloak Hammer.
• Fang Mushan learned that Li Haomiao was the Yan King and asked about his father, while Xu Yunfan performed Cloak Hammer flawlessly after a single explanation.

Xu Yunfan settled in North Ye City, survived conflicts with Qin Bo and Fei Yao, and advanced his martial arts while seeking a bone-tempering art. After Lu Yi gave him a token, Xu Yunfan entered the Ghost Market and encountered a guarded seller with a possible bone-forging technique.

• Xu Yunfan escaped the ice field with Fang Mushan and Li Haomiao, and Li Haomiao defeated Li Miaoyun with the Dragon-Tiger Great Pill before Bi Sheng treated him and recruited Fang Mushan into the Dao Sect.
• Xu Yunfan reached North Ye City, robbed the Hu Residence of its wealth, bought Clear River Residence, and registered himself with the yamen.
• Xu Yunfan fought Qin Bo and Fei Yao over the courtyard, discovered Qin Bo’s experiments and the Power Awareness Bodhisattva statue, then killed Qin Bo and later killed Fei Yao.
• Xu Yunfan cultivated with the statue and advanced Fleet Foot to great accomplishment, completing his Second Tempering as his tendons and skin reached the limits of the human body.
• Xu Yunfan collected the Drumming Weng Gold Hammer from Lu Tiejang and practiced the Thirty-Six Forms Cloak Hammer and Surging Wave Palm.
• Lu Yi explained the Crimson Training Cloak Hammer and Qingzhou’s bone-training arts, then gave Xu Yunfan a Mist Concealment Token for the Ghost Market.
• Xu Yunfan entered the Ghost Market, rejected fake manuals, and asked the Iron Masked Man about genuine Bone Training techniques.
• The Iron Masked Man showed Xu Yunfan the Golden Crow Bone Forging Chapter but warned him that people had died for true inheritances.

Xu Yunfan left North Ye City seeking a sect, but his search led him into the struggle over the Gilded Mace and forced him to kill Wan Miaoyin and Old Monk Qiu Zhu. After several major sects rejected him and he destroyed a fraudulent temple, Liu Tianyun offered him a place in the Heavenly Cicada Sect.

• Xu Yunfan killed the Black Market ambushers, then fought Feng Zi and Uncle Jin’s caravan in the Withered Wood Forest before entering North Ye City.
• Xu Yunfan mastered the Iron Bridge Town Suppression Bone Training Chapter, said goodbye to Lu Yi, and left for Accumulating Cloud Mountain.
• Xu Yunfan infiltrated Thousand Buddha Temple, awakened the Eight-Armed Three-Headed Statue’s power, and advanced the Lin Character Secret as the Gilded Mace struck the courtyard.
• Xu Yunfan watched Old Monk Qiu Zhu seize the Gilded Mace and defeat the fighters, then fled the temple as Qiu Zhu became a monster.
• Xu Yunfan used the Lin Stance to claim the Gilded Mace, killed Old Monk Qiu Zhu and Wan Miaoyin, and escaped with the weapon.
• Xu Yunfan traveled to Changyi with Liu Tianyun’s caravan, then failed to gain entry to several renowned sects because of his altered bones and completed training.
• Xu Yunfan followed Zhang Tiehu to Qixia Temple, exposed its scam, and killed Zhang Tiehu, Qixia Daoist Priest, and the cultists before taking their money and a shipment roster.
• Xu Yunfan told Liu Tianyun that nearby sects had rejected him, and Liu Tianyun offered him a place in the Heavenly Cicada Sect with a token.

Xu Yunfan joined the Heavenly Cicada Sect, but its betrayal and destruction forced him to kill Chen Tiangang and flee with the Golden Cicada Body Tempering Art. After perfecting his copper-body training, he reached Heavenly Crafting Cave and became Zhan Yan’s disciple.

• Xu Yunfan mastered the Iron Bridge Town Suppression Bone Training Chapter, reached Third Tempering Martial Master, and left Changyi for Wu Province, where he witnessed famine and massacres.
• Xu Yunfan reached the Heavenly Cicada Sect with Liu Tianyun’s token, and Chen Tiangang accepted him as a disciple and taught him the Heavenly Cicada Force.
• As Xu Yunfan trained, Ning Wuque led the Black Armored Army against the sect, and Chen Tiangang revealed his scheme to take Ning Wuque’s True Blood and rebuild the Heavenly Cicada Sect.
• Xu Yunfan found the Heavenly Cicada Armor manual, then fought Chen Tiangang, who had secretly used Blood Cicada medicine on him, and killed him with the Gilded Mace.
• Xu Yunfan took the Golden Cicada Body Tempering Art from Chen Tiangang’s remains and escaped the destroyed sect, later meeting Chi Suwen and Uncle Chen on his way to Cangzhou.
• Xu Yunfan perfected the Crimson Flame Copper Body Art and Cloak Hammer, reached the Golden Skin State, and traveled to Heavenly Crafting Cave to reforge his broken hammer.
• Fu Jin recognized Xu Yunfan’s connection to Divine Weapon Ridge, and Zhan Yan invited him to join the Casting Hall and teach him the Thousand Jun Mountain Shaking Hammer Technique.
• Xu Yunfan kowtowed to Zhan Yan and became his disciple, while Fu Jin celebrated Divine Weapon Ridge’s inheritance having a successor.
