But that wasn't something a soldier like him should be thinking about right now. He watched the coordinates on the map link together into a bombing route.

After letting out a long breath, the pilots began operating the cockpit packed with buttons and switches.

Within just a few minutes, they reached the first starting area of the bombing route.

"We've reached the starting point of the bombing route. Bomb bay doors open. Beginning descent."

The pilots began reporting the data to the personnel on the other end of the comms.

The massive stratospheric B-52 bomber fortress slowly broke through the clouds and descended. The deafening roar of its engines gradually traveled from the sky down to the ground.

As the bombers arrived, the various satellites focused over Edo were also redirected, with most of them beginning to focus on this area.

Then every country possessing satellites was shocked, because the monsters produced by Little Japan's biotechnology were exposed in full view through the broadcasts of every military satellite.

When Little Japan's Prime Minister saw the scene, it was as if all his strength had left him. He slumped lifelessly onto the steps.

He had never imagined things would turn out this way. Everything had aligned with such absurd coincidence.

And especially when, a few minutes later, the iron-clad man who had caused all this charged down the mountain like a tiger descending from the hills and finished clearing out the biological weapons they had painstakingly cultivated, it was enough to make the Prime Minister's eyes roll back as he fainted.

The Blood Angels, who had been hiding, instantly forgot about maintaining their concealment and all looked up toward the rear.

However, because of where they were hiding, most of their view was completely blocked by the mountainside and the trees.

As the B-52's bomb bays slowly opened, the bomb-release indicator lights instantly changed from yellow to green. The bombardier watching the indicators immediately pressed the switch.

One enormous aerial bomb after another began rotating sideways, breaking free of its mounts and plunging toward the lush forest below.

The shriek of the bombs' rapid descent rang out, and Quan Tiehua's expression changed when he couldn't make out the exact situation.

"Damn it! They're about to bomb this whole mountain area!" Without bothering to conceal himself anymore, he abruptly stood up, drawing the attention of the monsters below that were still staring at the sky.

"Run! Get into that laboratory!" As he spoke, he brandished his Power Sword and leaped down the slope, charging toward the valley in a sliding tackle at the monsters that had discovered the Blood Angels.

They howled and charged up the slope.

Quan Tiehua didn't hold back. He was the first Astartes to make contact with this group of monsters. With one fierce sweep of his Power Sword, several monsters were cut into chunks of meat of different shapes. The iron plating covering their limb joints and the iron caps over their heads were exposed. Looking closely, those were actually brain-shaped tissues the same color as the monsters' blue blood.

As they rolled out and were exposed to the air, they even produced a dull, thumping sound like a heartbeat.

"This is positively alien technology!" Quilstein caught up and, upon seeing the crude yet unconventional biotechnology in the mangled corpses, couldn't help shaking his head in disgust.

At first, they had thought that these monsters' huge size and the protective armor covering their bodies—which used the same alloy armor as the Jaeger hunters—meant that they could take a couple of blows from an Astartes even if they were inferior. Who could have imagined they would be such pathetic creatures?

Armed with melee weapons, the Astartes could kill one with just a few swings.

These monsters were like zombies. Even after their bodies were blown apart, they wouldn't die immediately and would still launch attacks. Even destroying the main brain in their heads wouldn't kill them. The four secondary brains in their limb joints would immediately take over command and direct their limbs to attack the Astartes.

But to the Blood Angels at this point, none of that mattered. They only needed to hack the monsters into pieces that posed no threat to them. Whether they were still alive or not was irrelevant.

Quan Tiehua reached the base entrance first. He drew the plasma pistol at his waist, already fully charged, and fired a loyal plasma shot into the pitch-black tunnel filled with the monsters' howls.

There were no lights in the dark tunnel, so human eyes naturally couldn't see the terrifying monsters inside.

But the Astartes saw everything clearly, and they weren't afraid in the slightest. Quan Tiehua and several veteran warriors formed a line at the front, like a shield wall fitted with earthmoving machinery.

They advanced steadily, swinging their swords and bringing their fists crashing down at the same time.

The monsters' howls and screams rang out as blue blood flecked with faint fluorescence sprayed everywhere.

Every so often, a plasma blast that dispelled the darkness throughout the passage erupted among the monsters.

Against ordinary people, even civilians, they only needed to bring down a fist or wave a hand.

But for the Astartes, it merely meant throwing a few more punches and expending a little more effort.

These monsters were even inferior to the Genestealers in the underhive.

"Brother, analysis indicates that the blood contained within these alien biological weapons is highly corrosive. It won't cause much damage to our Plasteel armor. However, if enough of this liquid accumulates, it may cause structural damage to the base we're currently in," a chirurgeon rapidly analyzed the composition and effects of the biological blood samples.

"It also seems to contain some form of energy. However, specialized instruments and comparisons with other materials will be needed afterward to determine exactly how much potential energy this energy can release! If possible, perhaps we can formulate it ourselves after returning to the Imperium!"

Quilstein crushed a monster's skull beneath his foot, then suddenly leaned over and asked, "Highly corrosive? Now that's some good stuff!"

As he spoke, he ignored the monsters howling and pouncing around him. He reached down to the corpse on the ground, which had been trampled and splattered with blood, and scooped up a handful of blue blood from its wound, watching it glow faintly in the darkness.

"If this stuff were made into bioweapons..." Then he turned to the chirurgeon still analyzing the sample. "Or added to a flamethrower..."

The chirurgeon brother sensed his gaze and looked up. He immediately realized what Quilstein was thinking and sternly said, "Brother Quilstein, given the current circumstances and the lack of clear data, please do not independently test those strange ideas in your head."

Quilstein nodded silently. But no one knew what expression he wore beneath his helmet—or what he was thinking.
