"Adam, you're here."
Penny greeted him warmly.

Adam shifted his gaze away from the gaunt young man, though he continued assessing him from the corner of his eye, and smiled at Penny. "I heard you had a great opportunity to perform. Sorry, I was too busy."
"It was nothing."
Penny was clearly feeling very pleased with herself. Modestly, she said, "It was just a small thing. No need to make such a big deal of it... I recorded the live performance. Want to watch it later?"

Adam nodded noncommittally and looked at the gaunt young man, who seemed to radiate a faintly sinister air.
"This is Leo, Sheldon's cousin."
Penny smiled as she introduced them. Then she said in surprise, "Huh? I remember Leonard saying you and Sheldon were high school classmates. You don't know Leo?"
"You forgot, I was a Navy brat. I grew up moving from naval base to naval base around the world with my parents."
